@Vidya First off, if you are going to use a word like "goebbelsian" to spread what ever you believe, learn how to spell it correctly. I reluctantly just thought I'd point that out (one of my bad character defects I am working on). Secondly, what you call a lie has made my life incredibly serene. Believing in a power greater than myself and having the faith that said power could change my life, the things I have in it and how I view the world was the best choice I've made by far. So, for "ME", God has been very good; once I finally surrendered, the best things have happened... Compassion for myself and others, Love and Connection with my fellow human beings. The things that matter in life, in MY opinion. So with that, I do give praise to the one; the unseen one who opened my eyes so I can finally see the world for what it is and also the good in it. I wish you the best on your lifes journey. Praise be to God.

I have a big problem with the first and the last part. After people have raised hell and become extremely bad, then they become Christian's. And you have God's ordained like trump who suffered innocently ruling. But they too don't honour God. Even people like Michael Jackson were bad.( he took naps with children) . People who were born rich are just gonna tell ya- they lost everything. And people who were born slaves died as kings( successful people ). That's the first will be last and last will be first.

Im an atheist but I love these videos. They truly show what Christianity should be about, living in the footsteps of Jesus Christ. Plus the animation is astonishing, all the transitions and they way they mash with the dialogue is awe.

I agree! They also keep going more in-depth which I like. I believe that it is important to look at the Bible for a more intense study than is commonly used, and these guys are truly doing a great job at that.

Well, you might not be wrong? In victorian English, V's were interchangeable with U's (Like the Fairy Qveen). So perhaps it is like that? Maybe the Animation studio did that on purpose as an homage to old English? Who knows. Bork.

You can't have a Kingdom without a King. And Jesus/Yeshua rules His kingom really well.

My journey with Christ started one year ago after I clicked the Bible Project's video about the Bible. I always thought the bible was boring and filled with a bunch of rules and stories here and there. Keep up the good work, you are really appreciated.

Thank you for making such important theology easy to understand by all audiences. I find the meaning of Gospel is usually poorly understood by non-believers, so this video will be a useful reference to point outsiders and newbies too.

my friends and I started our own Bible study and decided to stop and hit “reset” bc we felt like we weren’t using the study for the rightful purpose; instead, for our own personal reasons. even as I’m typing this, I’m not sure on what to do. I started this 28 day plan for prayer and it gave me this vid on the first day. I’m so glad I watched this. I truly thank you and this is coming from someone who is spiritually dry, but is wanting to make progress ❤️

The Sore Winner God proved through the stories of pharaoh and Nebuchadnezzar that he uses those he ordains over governments to accomplish His will and to glorify Himself. It doesn’t matter if the person respects God’s authority in their life or not God’s plans will prevail. Don’t forget “God so loved the World” the word world represents every people group on the planet with no respect for their status or how much they’ve sinned. A second part of that set of verses is always missed “Jesus didn’t come into the world to condemn it, but to save it” everyone who is alive has the same opportunity for salvation no matter where they are in life. I think we need to stop comparing ourselves to others as well as stop judging people for what they have or haven’t done. “There is now therefore no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus “ Those “ bad” people that come to Christ don’t need someone reminding them of how bad they were because Satan already does every chance he gets in order to make us less useful for Gods kingdom.,

I loved this one, the word gospel or, "The Good News," definitely didn't feel so great after a thousand times of hearing the same phrases over and over to the point I felt like it lost its meaning. I love how you're trying to bring back what was lost in translation and time. I think that thinking about Christianity in the context of its time and bringing it to today is a vital part of faith. Issac wasn't "Issac" in his time. He was "he who laughs", in the current context we might as well have called him Giggles. You see a similar naming practice throughout that part of the Bible, and it starts to show you that the standards for which we name things today wasn't completely made at the time, it becomes easier to believe that these tales do come from ancient oral tradition.

Even so, if we're going to believe that the Gospel happened, we have to admit that there were was more than one language during the events that's took place. The Gospels of Mark, Matt, Luke and John are indeed in Greek, but the events they talk about are in multiple languages. Not just Greek, but Hebrew and Aramaic as well. The gentiles most likely spoke Greek, the Hebrews most likely spoke Hebrew, the Romans had their own and so on. There's even an event in the New Testament were a bunch of people all understood one another despite speaking different languages. In the Old Testament, it's far more likely that it was written from the account of multiple languages, maybe even some dead ones. Do you really think that Adam and Eve spoke Greek? I don't think so.

Fun fact about the word "Gospel" in English-- it actually comes from a direct translation of the Greek eu-angelion into the Old English gōd-spel, "gōd" meaning "Good" and "spel" meaning word, writing, or news.
