    Good Day, early on when I had my first 6.0 I would direct the mechanics at the dealer to your links. They were pulling 60-80 hour week with little or no help from the mother ship (FMC). I appreciated every effort attempted after all they didn't design or build It. They were throwing a lot of parts at the 6.0. With your Video's It gave The dealer service mechanic a true advantage. Thank you for advancing the service life of the 6.0.

    sucks! As cools as a 502 is or even a small block 350 or 383 stroker is, nothing compares to the torque and power of a diesel just a different itch!!! I love my 5.9 cummins and would never got back to gas for a truck. Unless, maybe a c10 and I would prolly just go with a 350 or something!

    Awesome videos. I have learned alot from them. I have done a lot to my truck using them. I have a quick question, do you normally do a resistance check on your injectors when you receive them? I put a set of 8 injectors in just to find out one had low circuit. I Did a resistance check and found one side not reading any resistance. Would one bad injector cause the truck to stall when put in gear while cold?

    What do you think of a oil cleaning centrifuge.? Never seen one available for vehicles but I’ve seen them on the pump motors on the drilling rig I work on. The materials it picks up out of the oils is absolutely incredible. It’s so fine it’s almost like a rubber. Do you think it would be a good way to help your oil system stay clean.? Another thing I’d like to get for my 6.0 would be a battery kill switch somewhere inside the cab. I’ve had my truck stolen and it was recovered and I wasn’t able to have insurance write it off. Anyways any input on this would be greatly appreciated.

    First I'd like to thank you for your time in making these series of videos and answering all the questions you get. I've got a 05' f350 6.0 and I'm overheating while pulling loads. The following has been done Banks 4" exhaust,hi ram,egr delete,bully dog cold air,coolant filter,arp studs and black onyx gaskets,700 miles ago oil cooler,Banks 6 gunner. I've got the 6 gunner set at 230 water and 225 oil temp anything beyond this alarms will sound .Could it be the coolant fan clutch ?

  • @powerstrokehelp
    @powerstrokehelp12 жыл бұрын

    Yes. One of the reasons I am not a big fan of upgraded injectors is I have taken several motors apart to find cracked pistons, broken rings etc. The stock injectors will not flow enough to make this happen.

  • @powerstrokehelp

    The cranks, rods are never an issue. The pistons get damaged from the heat. BUT you can hurt a stock tuned engine if you run it hard all the time.

    I have seen reliability problems with fassfuel systems due to improper installation. First for them to work correctly they NEED the regulated return. In the stock system they work so hard that they constantly burn up wiring. Installed correctly they are excellent systems.

    Fuel bowl delete and frame mounted spin on filterS is so much better you get better filtration and less junk in the engine bay. Mine is fed from the back can't even see the feed lines they come in from the back of the block, all that is really viable is the FPR and return line. Makes it so much easier when you need to work in there.

I delete te code but everytime I turn the truck off and come back to start back up it comes back on. I don't know what the deal is, the truck has no cold start issues or running issue and it started when it started getting in the 20s here in Kentucky. Like I said it starts up fine, no injector misses or stiction.

New oil cooler, welded EGR cooler, coolant filter, blue spring upgrade, adding Rex-X, gauges, 4" turbo back exhaust, repairing FICM and Atlas 40 tune, ecm/ tcm roll back with egr delete and 65hp tow tune from power hungry performance. I'm saving for the regulated fuel return from Dozer's, I'm also interested in the Racor fuel system, which one do you use? Is now a good time to do it, or should I just wait for the reg. return?

Have you given thought on designing a better egr cooler system as opposed to an egr delete? How about a egr filtration system to prevent the coking/carbon issues? As long as Ford keeps making trucks, my kids will never go hungry. Awesome videos. Justin

Its not true 4" though, down pipe is 3.5" I removed the kitty and muff, shortly thereafter lost an injector, replaced all injectors w/ a used set then realized Ive lost 3 MPG. I am running a stage 1 in-line module (Dr. Performance) and an airaid intake. MPG loss because of Exhaust or injectors

But it runs great and at random times it will rev up a couple hundred rpms n back down really fast just a quick spurt of throttle all on its own. Then it will drop rpms in the same manner. Then if I punch it it usually goes away for a while. Any idea.?? I had it plugged in and everything's fine and it doesn't throw a code at all.

    Bill why not recommend the Davco Fuel processors? They have different micron ratings as low as 2 micron, fuel filters can be purchased with the water membrane as an additional precaution, you can have a water sensor installed as an option, these really are not that much either. You can see the filter too and know when its time to change.
