I love your videos. Especially on all the 7.3 content from the HUEI to the upgraded transmissions info. It’s answered several questions for me as I rebuilt my 03 F250 7.3 PowerStroke. Please never stop!

As a mechanic myself, something else to check on these diesel fords with the manual trans is to make sure someone else didn't replace the ATF in the manual transmission it regular gear/motor oil thinking it's better. I see this a LOT when customers come with with used Ford's complaining about difficulty in shifting when cold, transmission noise etc.. I can't believe people still do that to these transmissions

I've been running the 6.7 power stroke these engines have been awesome since day one, very reliable stock, I do run a program in it when I tow now. As for issues with the 6.7 and programmer not yet do I expect it maybe. But I'm not running it like I stole it just everyday driving and towing. As for the cp4 and cp4.2 issues not yet and we ran a small fleet of f350,450,250 trucks. I'm now running a 2016 f350 xlt with 124,000 this truck is new to me as I sold my f250 2019 and bought this 16 f350 as my daily driver that I'm towing through America for the next 3 years.

Hey Bill, not a powerstroke issue but if you get a BMW X5 E70 with a stalling diesel engine it is injector number 5, water ingress from a broken bakerlite insulation strip against the bonnet. Once broken water drips onto the number 5 injector and stalls out the engine with no codes. Took me months to figure it out. Many will be quoted over 10K for a $1500 repair. Great video by the way.

Tried to take my truck to you guys a month ago but the guy told me you wouldn’t be able to work on it for a month or two and to drop it off and you would get to it when you could. No scheduling or anything. 🤷🏼♂️ ended up taking it to a local shop

Hey Bill. I have a 13 F250 6.7 with 61k miles. I've been sending oil samples in to Oil Analyzers, Inc (thanks to Tom Brown, Amsoil) since the day I bought it with 14k miles. I've also been running the Amsoil Dual Remote Bypass filter system shortly after buying the truck. My last 2 samples are showing high wear metals of Iron, Chromium and Aluminum. Based on advice from Tom and engineers at Oil Analyzers, I'm bringing the truck to Ford tonight for a morning appointment to have the cylinders bore scoped. If you have a moment, I'd be curious of what your thoughts would be to what could be causing this and how concerned I should be. I appreciate you and your time, I know you are busy. Thanks again!
