I understand the delta i just wonder what safe oil temps are when going down the road for a 6.0 my semi’s run 230-240 degrees depending on load and grades and I’m always heavy. But that seems a bit hot for a smaller Diesel engine. My temps run depending on speed and outdoor temps 5-12 degrees running 75-80 mph in 90-100+ degrees idle is 2-3 degrees difference

Does my 6.0 need to get vaccinated?

Refilling 6 gallons of coolant every 50 k is a waste flush it with distilled and refill with red shell ELC. Which is Cat equivalent red. I'm at 450k on my 6.4 coolant goes 3 years without no package to dropout. Also besides contaim coolant level will kill or pop a cooler.
