Well, I'm doing Psychology at university, so I'm not a proper psychologist, but it seems to me like he has very strong levels of narcissism. Maybe when he was a child he was overly adored and now if anyone treats him as anything less than perfect, he thinks they're basically spitting in his face. Also the copying is due to (I believe) an excess of mirror neurons. Not sure what you'd call his overall condition but I think it's a combination of many things. To be fair to him, it's also possible he has autism on top of that, so that he genuinely can't read social cues (this would also explain the poor "common sense", which is a trait in some but not all!)

*THIS RIGHT HERE WAS COLD* 😂 4:43 I love how they showed the bull right after he was saying BS. That was a really clever sneak diss😂 I love to come back and watch this sometimes, LMFAO! I’m a trained chef. I went to culinary school in Japan and lived there for six years. A chef is someone with a culinary degree. That’s the true definition of a chef. You’re not a chef if you know how to make instant ramen with a dash of cat food in it. I’m so tired of people calling themselves chefs just because they can cook a few things. You’re not an astronaut just because you can see the stars. You’re not a doctor just because you shoved a thermometer up you ass. You’re not a model just because you take selfies. You’re not a DJ just because you stood behind one once while begging him to play Nikki Minaj. Get it? Chef is a title that’s awarded to those with a culinary degree. I think is so amazing how there’s people in this world that think because they can cook a few things well that they’re somehow on par with a professional chef who’s cooked in many cities and in foreign countries. It’s just not the case.

I love being an actual professionally taught chef and watching these guys trying to convice themselves that they know what they‘re doing. But you don‘t need years to learn some basic principles of cooking, like: - keep the rim of the plate clean and clear - if the garnish isn‘t meant to be eaten, don‘t put it on the plate (or in this case here, do something with those frickin micro carrots, glaze them or whatever, but make them tasty and part of the meal) I would love this series to get more into the details of cooking, service, decoration, etc. Here in Germany we have a similar series called „Rosin‘s Restaurants“ where Frank Rosin helps restaurants that don‘t work, but it actually explains better where the problems actually are. So he explains to the owners how to cook, how to present, how to calculate the prices on their menu, and he helps them to come up with a new menu themselves and stuff like this. I feel it‘s more helpful to the people because they better understand what they‘re supposed to do, so that the next time, they‘re in a difficult situation, they at least know in theory how to investigate and analyze the issues themselves.

I love how all of these episodes start off with Gordon and the owner being friendly, and it goes downhill within 5-10 minutes once he realizes how fucking stupid they are.

I'm on another KN binge and forgot how hilarious this one was. The Staff should have had popcorn when Gordon told Joe his opinion on the food. Joe was constantly acting like a small child when caught in a lie. He didn't deny that he had a 'phoney arse' lol. Blaming the Staff and trying to backtrack made him look ridiculous and the customers saw that too. I think the only thing he got right was that Gordon was from Scotland XD
