I'm a late subscriber, but very grateful for your channel. Thank you for sharing and preserving a dance legend, Donald O'Connor. He was, in my opinion, The very best of the best. There's virtually nothing he couldn't do, or did for that matter. It's criminal he wasn't recognized for a lifetime achievement award. But in our hearts and minds, he was pure poetry in motion. Thank you again!

This so very nice! The ringing, rich baritone of the estimable Gordon MacRae, off set by the so accomplished dancing of the fleet of foot Donald O`Connor with, for one, Vera Ellen - I believe I`m right in saying that some of the color footage is from "Call Me Madam". Great how the otherwise unrelated song somehow matches the footage so very well! Thanks for this - so very enjoyable!

Gordon MacRae sings this song as if he is telling a woman how very much he loves her! I don't know how he does it, but he sings just every song this way! Love, Liz

What a brilliant idea! I love the way you paired those clips with the song (and a great song it is at that!), not to mention the clips themselves. An excellent job, my friend! Thank you for putting this together and sharing it with us. :)

Best version I have ever heard, but switching to a soft falsetto rather than closing forte with his extraordinary baritone was a mistake. One that another immortal baritone never made, Jim Reeves. Only tenors sound good in falsetto, and then only when used sparingly. Basically, females sound FAR better, particularly as utilized in background choir arrangements, such as many of Johnny Mathis' most splendid recordings.
