Agreed. Wanna know what i found ironic? Amy literally feels abused by all the costumers and their perspectives on her food and wants to change things up, yet her toxic ass denial personality can’t change anything and yet tends to argue with Gordon of how he’s wrong about everything and that he disrupted their dinner service yet he’s an expert chef who knows how to run a business and how to perfect one. Samy is a very agressive and delusional owner too, but I mean at least he was trying to make cooperation with Gordon and at least proved his honesty. I mean if Amy is that good with cakes, why tf wouldn’t she just open up a bakery? JUST a BAKERY?

Same. I find it insane that after that whole thing, that no one else walked out. I would have just walked out. I don't care if I paid or not, if the owners act like that, they don't deserve to be paid. My parents taught me to be respectful to people and to give a proper service in whatever job one has. What these people did, was the complete opposite of that. If I ever see these people near me I'd call security immediately and prevent them from even coming into the building. And if they refuse, oh look here come the police.

The deserts were ordered and delivered by a pastry chef nearby. She never made any of those deserts at all and she took credit for them. Notice she changes the subject when Chef Ramsey says great desert. 2 different pastry chefs came forward and said that they sold the deserts to Amy. Absolute liars. She would buy a cake for $20 wholesale and she charged $11 for one piece. Each cake would make 8 slices of cake, therefore she made almost $90 per cake and $70 profit. They would sell 5 to 7 cakes per night. They made their money from their deserts mostly. The food was horrid because she actually made the food. Almost everyone would send their food back, that was why they got so many yelp negatives. It was a shock to Amy because they mastered the pastry thing, however, they couldn’t outsource the food. They tried hiring chefs however, they wouldn’t let the chefs cook. It was a disaster waiting to happen. Sammy was into so much illegal crap. He was not a developer at all. In fact, he got deported because of the smuggling he got caught doing. Also he was a pimp as well running an escort company. Amy was suppose to work for him and he took her for himself. Their story could be a movie.

I'm fairly sure that the previous staff never got anything back but I've been reading what other people are saying and they aren't in business anymore, in fact it was a money laundering scheme which is why he was able to invest so much money into the company, he got deported back to Israel due to past criminal history and illegally being in the states which is why you can see in the episode he stops his wife from calling the police and they got divorced, from other things I've read from multiple people is that she still sells her baked goods online in the states which I personally think she should stick with because even Gordon said they were great cakes, she's just not good at cooking

There's a difference between recognizing the criticism but still struggling with it and simply not acknowledging it and acting like you're above it. I struggle with taking criticism due to a multitude of factors, but I have learned to take a step back, let it sink in and let myself feel my feelings about it, and take it in stride. You're allowed to feel sucky about it! But just remember that (constructive and warranted) criticism is nothing personal, and doesn't reflect on YOU. :)

If you want a 2023 update on them here it is: Since 2008 Sammy was fighting his deportation back to Israel for criminal activity. They shut the restaurant in 2015 followed by going on Dr Phil and blaming their downfall on Ramsey and then Sammy got deported in 2018. She followed him. Made a video I think in 2021 still blaming Ramsey and the food critics and trolls online. She opened up a baking business and account. And still… to this day… is clapping back at negative feedback and comments in the most unprofessional and childish manner. And Gordan claps back by uploading the whole show years later. I know you posted this a few months ago; however, I just want to say that I am so sorry that you had to experience that. To this day I still have so much anxiety because of the mental & psychical abuse I endured. I hope you are healing now ❤️ I know first hand how hard it is to recover after suffering at the hands of someone so delusional.

In my case that was my 1st relationship & I had no idea. I wouldn't wish that kind of suffering on anyone. My husband burnt my house down in December & I was homeless too. Sad thing about all of this is - Sammy and Amy actually got a lot of business after this aired. Even thought Gordon did nothing to improve them (because, obviously, they didn't allow him), people still went there after seeing this episode. They made a lot of money after being so rude. I don't care if people "just wanted to see how it really is"... they still gave them money after seeing this. It's just crazy... these two should never work with people again, ever!

Amy and Sammy are narcissists and narcissists lack social skills, they can't be reasonable and have a discussion because their way of thinking is "I AM RIGHT YOU'RE WRONG!" And they're very critical of others but are extremely sensitive to criticism themselves because they believe they're perfect, thats why Amy went crazy at Gordon they can't stand assertive and blunt people because they can't get away with abusing them. Also a narcissist is underappreciated in their own mind by those around them and they think they're superior to everyone else and expect special treatment
