"Good" flights vs "bad" flights - Mind your language!

In this video, I start us as journey to show you why your self-talk is so important to understand and modify if you going to leave distraction as a remedy behind and really master your fear - even if it’s uncomfortable. We use how different people describe the meaning of a good flight versus a bad flight, and how you can learn to modify your self talk.

Having a good relationship to flying is something I can't even imagine right now. But these videos from Les have helped me with my abject fear of turbulence.

Thank you for this video and all your previous ones, which have helped me tremendously over the years. Reminding myself that uncomfortable things may very well be uncomfortable, but I'm not necessarily in danger, has been particularly useful. (In fact, I just did this a few hours ago getting a filling done at the dentist!) Something else I've found very helpful is learning the basics of what's happening during takeoff (when I experience the most discomfort). I'm flying about 9 hours to visit my in-laws for Christmas, and I look forward to applying more of the techniques you've shared to help reestablish a good relationship with aviation (I loved flying as a kid and young adult). Will certainly be thinking more about the language I use when I talk about flying.
