Hey there CMTM family, Kevin here! Today, we gather to remember some of country music's brightest stars who dimmed far too soon. These talented singers left an unforgettable mark and are still deeply missed.

Jim Reeves songs are still on the air in Europe, India Sri Lanka
I'm not surprised these artists were mentioned, especially Hank, Patsy, Jim, and Keith W--all passing at the height of their careers. One artist that I'm surprised who wasn't mentioned is Johnny Horton. Like the other 4 I mentioned, he died at the height of his career.
I just subscribed. My favorite singer has always been Dottie West. As a kid back in the 70's I used to buy her records for myself and would buy extra copies to give away to others to share her great voice. Dottie heard about me and in 1974 Dottie started calling me her #1 Fan and did so up until her death.I'm mentioned a book about her, Born A Country Girl. Don Ewert, Milwaukee.

Dottie is a legend. I wish more new singers had her talent!
I was waiting for Marty Robbins, an absolute legend. And I was honestly in shock the days Joe Diffie and Toby Keith died.

Marty Robbins went way too soon. I was also shocked when Joe passed away. When Toby passed away we lost a legend and someone that really loved his country!
Ricky Nelson, even though he was considered more pop or country pop. He still sang some country songs.

That's true. Ricky did blur the line between the two genres at times.
Some people didn’t pass away soon enough. John Lennon is an example.
Well done. I've toured the Jim Reeves Museum in Nashville once whenever I was younger.

Lisa Marie Presley left way too soon as well. She was trying yo break into country as well like her father did. That was shocking and sad that she left as well at a young age.
