Omg , I have about 7 pairs of skates, I just ordered the Mavens in Black. Semi custom, I sprained my ankle really badly about 6 was ago and finally feeling better. But I got them , not only because I know they are awesome, but for the extra support. I’m from New Jersey, USA!! Love your videos!!🥰

I personally don’t think it would be bad for beginners, Ull jus get used to skating with more mobility. It’d be similar to if u changed ur bushings straight away

They dont make them in sizes, or at least they didnt back then, i dont know if they do now tho, they might. But theyre usual practice is to make them for ur feet specifically

That’s a really hard question Cus I’m not sure the main difference between them is the stiffness and the colour I chose to get them in. I guess I love em both equally as I use them both for different purposes. Sorry I can’t give u a more definitive answer

Do you think 7mm or 8mm ? Makes a real difference. I want to definitely get golden horse just want to make sure as my first skates that it’s a really good pair and I can grow with them as I level up I don’t want to buy too many boots I can’t afford lol

I honestly noticed zero difference however I would recommend getting 8mm for ease of buying bearings and nuts ect as 7mm are hard to find

I'm dying for a pair of GH! But I've heard that the toe box it's too narrow for wide feet even being semi customs, do you happen to have wide feet?

I do have fairly wide feet but I’ve also seen wider feet be made, I’m assuming who said that maybe they did their measurements slightly off. Mine fit great, they legit feel like they were made for my feet.

If u wanna be extra safe u can make mention when they contact u about how u would like them that u have wide feet and u can always ask for wriggle room too 👍🏽🥰 the new colours are so pretty, I really like the grey ones too 😬😅
