as a roller skater may i say that u chose the right pair!! i personally skate with edea flys but the ritmos are amazing as well.

Edea with roll-ine plate, are amazing skate, many times for other brands, you pay for the marketing, they are colorful and cute etc etc, but they are poor in quality or durability, or have little chance to upgrade the boot or plate. All the professionals who skate "for work" recommended Edea and using a rolline plate

Moonlight rollers with a professional roll line plate (like ring, spin, or dance) is where it's at. The variant c she has is entry level plate . It's more about the plate than the boot, especially with edea . They all good boots but the plate makes the real difference

i love how excited you get for your new skates! ill definitely keep my eyes on these skates in the future. i know the avanti magnesium plate by sure-grip is supposed to be a lighter weight plate while also being more durable than plastic or nylon.

im guessing youre a roller skater. Edea is probably the most popular brand amongst figure skaters. Olympic champions wear them and the reason why there is so much ankle support is because you're supposed to do triple/ double jumps with them haha.

I'm sure you didn't regret buying them in the last 2 years, some girl from my skating class have Edea and she says she can be skating hours and not have sore or pain in her feet. Same with Risport, I tried on Risport borrowed, and they feel so tight. Variant is the plate indicated when you start doing more jumps, there are others lighter but that one it's ok 👍

I ordered roller skate couple of weeks ago too (before I had Impala: a massive improvement) My boots are Risport. I am self teaching artistic skating. How do you find the cushions ? (the yellow bits) I changed mine to soft (sure grip 72A) and I feel like I have more agility. Are you getting used to those really hard wheels ? (mine are Star HD84, the hardest there is) I am planning to get Giotto in a mix of 49D and 53D

Ooh Risport looks great! I'm not using those wheels I accidentally got way too hard indoor wheels, so instead I'm trying others like luminous wheels, the Giotto ones seem good for artistic wish I got those instead!

I just made the order for mine but the wheels are magnum 57mm 49d does anyone know if these are good and if not what should I get?

just a warning I'm an artistic roller skater and i have those brand of boots i have the opra set if you skate on the road get different wheels but if your gonna skate on wood floors just keep those ones

Those are beautiful skates. When I was younger and bought skates in the 80’s tools always came with skates. It’s all about money now I guess.

For me it is not a trend. I have been skating on and off now for 2 years. I love it! Started getting into artistic rollerskating, edea is perfect for that! But i just bought a cheap pair, stuck to it and now i have moxi's. But my goal is to have these ones!

They have a sizing chart on their website and a video on their KZread channel to select the right sizey

on edea's website they have a tutorial on how to measure your feet to get the exact size of boots for you. Figure skates need to be snug to your foot.

So cute I love them. Quick tip tighten your wheels so you don’t hear the clicking sound

they might just be tight because they aren't broken in yet whenever you skate more they should get less tight

I want edea’s so bad but I’m broke 😭 I got impalas as a gift in the summer but they are already falling apart

Oh no!! Hope you get some soon I totally know what you mean my first pair were a cheap pair that broke and I knew I had to invest in better ones!

5:17 nah it will make jumping 10 x easier. The reason why they're so heavy, is becuase of the amount of support and the wheels of course. With edea skates you're supposed to train your ankles and make them "muscled". I think you have a beginner boot, if not, ehhh idk man but you're supposed to start of with a looser kind of boot for your ankles to get used to.

Some tips that you might not of thought of- Wear white socks to not ruin the inside of the boots. Put the skate covers on before the skates. If you forget to service regularly you will need to buy new bearings and you will need two per wheel. They need to be heavy to help with landing etc. You could use a hairdryer or an oven to mould them to your feet. They are meant for competitions and artistic so you may struggle as a beginner. If you have rolline plates then you will automatically have rolline toe stops so you don’t need to mention that every time lol 😅
