I could have predicted this from the beginning. They are a complete mismatch. Biologically, he needs to get into a relationship with someone about 15 years younger. This is enough age difference to make things new and interesting. You would be surprised to see how many men use Viagra, but then don't need it anymore once they get a new younger girlfriend. Just find a compatible woman who is sweet and sharp enough to carry on a conversation for many years. Most men do not remarry someone their own age. He is financially sound and appears in good physical health. But once a woman is post menopausal, she physically ages rapidly. Don't mean to sound cruel here, but that is the reality of life. No amount of hair coloring or make-up will make things even. Gravity takes its toll. Don't hate, just understand.

I don't like Gerry. I think he is such a phony!!! He was far from honest about his past. I am thankful that Theresa was smart enough to get a prenup!!!

Great video, My relationship of 5 years ended a month ago. I’m sorry you’re going through that. There are a lot of videos on KZread on how to win back your ex. Some of these videos are really helpful. Especially the ones about the no contact rule and guided mediation. Also…just know that the same way you are missing her, I’m sure she is probably missing you. 5 years is a long time, you get used to always being around that person. So if you play your cards right, you will increase the likelihood of her wanting to get back together. But if for whatever reason it doesn’t happen, there is still someone amazing out there for you. Be hopeful and positive ✌️☮️ 💕

This entire thing was so stupid. None of us know what is real or made up. How much was done for the money, notoriety, amazing activities, adventures and gifts received? Being a 71 year old widow myself, I know I would have enjoyed having some fun and money to spend. However, I couldn’t put myself on display for the world to watch and critique. 💔

I don't believe their excuse of not being able to find a house. I read they never took the honeymoon trip to Italy and they continued to live separately. It was clear from the beginning they didn't have time to really know each other. It was obvious he did a complete 180 from Leslie after his conversation with Theresa about her career (with money). It's not sad. Age isn't a reason to rush a marriage.

Gerry turned out to be a jerk. The marriage lasted longer than I thought. I knew from day 1 that it wasn't going to last. Smh.

I am not sure that Gerry and Theresa are still are in love with each other. If they were still in love with each other then, they would still make it work.

Why are they laughing? This is no laughing matter. It must be nervous laughter, stemming from the realization that hardly anyone seems to have the patience, love, and integrity required for a lasting relationship anymore.

I don't understand why they didn't see that their not being able to agree on where to live, and having such different goals (i.e. Theresa still holding firm to her job and Gerry wanting free time to enjoy retirement) didn't see these as huge 'red flags'. They should not have gone ahead with a rushed wedding before settling these major issues.

Wow…brutal comments. As a single senior, I know how wonderful it would be to find love (again) and as you are taken up in the excitement you would feel just as you did when you were younger…that you could conquer anything together. Yet…when your life is very established around the family that you built and have poured your heart and soul into for decades, you won’t just fly away to leave everyone and live elsewhere. It’s another choice of kids, home and family over self and love. Hopefully next time the Golden group will choose all suitors who live in the same state as the primary.

It was obvious from the beginning that they were both attached to their families. The Bachelor should choose people from the same area next time. Grown children need to be close to their parents in case of an emergency.

During the ceremony and after, Gerry had checked out. Look at the video....😮

Because there are children and grandkids for everyone involved (including the other final ladies) I highly doubt anyone will be willing to leave their states/homes to move to the other's state for a relationship. Understandably so.

On the show, Teresa said that she would move for Gerry.

They both got caught up in the limelight… which is what happens to 90% of these couples. It becomes a story not real life. They are old enough to know better. Ridiculous. He seemed fake all the way through. The perfect responses, etc/ trying to act but not coming off as real.

I knew that them being so established in their places where they live would be a problem; we’re talking decades of time. I would have a hard time bcoz my family is here in Cali and anywhere else would be out of the question. It’s just a shame that so that money was wasted on 3 months of marriage. The big wedding the honeymoon the ring etc…even if the partner hashad way more to offer me than what I had as far as house and lifestyle; I couldn’t be states away from my family like that.

I read that Garry’s ex-girlfriend he moved into his house a month after his wife died insisted on them always going Dutch. That would be deal breaker for me. Real men don’t do that. Garry is a loser; his eyes lit up when he realized Theresa had money. He wanted it and she decided she wasn’t going to go for that.

My ex used to always say I think it could be this way. I kind tired of hearing him say he thought instead of just saying clearly how he felt. It’s a sign of an insincere person when they say kinda or I think. Garry needs to man up; he is pathetic. I sure wouldn’t want him.

I never cared for Theresa even though she's from the Tri- State area. I'm hoping that he may be able to get a chance with the woman that he didn't choose -I believe she was a fitness trainer or the woman that left early to " be a mom" , as she put it -she seemed to be a lovely person. I really loved the fact that her daughter needed her and she put her daughter's needs before her own, even though her daughter is an adult. BRAVA! That is how it should be - if your child needs their mother or father then their parent should be there for them before anything else, within reason. 🎉 If there's going to be a Golden Bachelorette please do not choose someone that has already been on the show. I would like to see a new woman. If Theresa and Gerry remain close friends, I think that is wonderful. I believe that they fell for each other so quickly because they both married their childhood sweetheart, ( it was also the first one on one date of the season, making it special) and from what I recall -if I am correct; their spouses both died in a similar fashion. They had many things in common and therefore, could really understand what they have gone through like no other can that hasn't had such experiences. Pathetic. They make a mockery of marriage! “We can’t live without each other! Till death do us part” turns to…”we can’t decide where to live so we are ending it”. They easily could have figured out that they wouldn’t be compatible about that BEFORE they got married. So it’s obvious they got married for the wrong reasons and are likely lying about why they are splitting up. It seems like their ‘announcement’ is being scripted in a way that they hope causes the least amount of embarrassment for the franchise. I wouldn’t be shocked if they are being compensated to pretend to still ‘love each other’ and be ‘best friends’ for a certain amount of time. To end it like this would make me think that at least one of them can’t stand the other.
