Xhaka played so well. He had an injured thigh played 120 minutes and prevented 2 goals, making up for other players mistakes. I'm still disapointed we lost. Winning seemed within reach today I believed in this team more than any swiss team in my life. And England were playing so badly before. I'm really disappointed, but they did their best.

They did get beat by an England team no one believes in, maybe belief in your team isn’t cutting it

there was a cheer in the pub when kane went off almost as loud as if we scored a goal, i get that he HAS to start games but when the defenders have tired legs take kane off cus watkins or toney can do more. The only thing kane is better at is finishing but watkins will get himself more chances from making runs and toney will win more headers

Kane would rather play midfield. People argue that he needs service but he’s not gonna get any If he’s in midfield or wingback. He’s terrible, he’s good at passing and longballs but who needs a striker that’s good at longballs

The whole game I saw one overlap crossing Saka, that was Walker. I feel its all down to Southgate's tactics. There literally no overlaps on both sides man. Somehow, France and England have both bumbled their way through the semi-finals. If they do meet in the final, it will be a match to decide which team is the luckiest, with France failing to score any goals of their own apart from a penalty, while England have always been rescued by a touch of individual genius rather than teamwork. The Departed wasn't actually written by Scorsese - it's pretty much a shot for shot remake of the film Infernal Affairs.

I’ve been a fan of Southgate up until this tournament. And it’s now patently obvious that he’s either putting his pride before the team. Or he’s not got the balls to upset the players who aren’t performing, to play the actual hot players of the moment. Even though Saka scored today, he’s been too easy to isolate all tournament and Cole Palmer has been much better. Eze has impressed on the left. And Tony is a much better target man than Kane, and at least he has some pace.

Saka makes england a 2 man team
