Been following your videos with interest. Getting lost keeping track. If I could suggest it would be less confusing if you could break your videos into like part 1, part 2 etc. Would make it easier to follow along without wondering if we are watching an older version or newer. Also it would be interesting if you told us how much your days collection in weight was instead of just showing in the pan what you did. Do you not weigh your findings as you go?

With the low water flow you usually have you should consider changing out your Hungarian ruffles for some low flow gold hog mats. I did and when I did my capture rates really went up, plus my clean ups were a lot easier plus I didn't any longer need to classify which increased my amounts of materials I could run in a day.

Hello Sir, I'm betting you've heard this many times and given it due consideration, but you might want to pan those concentrates into something like another pan with jet dry a few times; the specific gravity differential between black sands and fines just doesn't allow for concentrates to be processed like raw material. There's an inverse relationship between concentrate grade and recovery (lower grade, higher recovery), a thing that gave rise to all those primitive methods that left tailings people rework today. I didn't used to, but what do I know? It ain't rocket surgery. Well done and thanks for the video.

I fail to understand why more folks in these gold prospecting videos don’t use metal detectors on their trips. Even though I can’t afford one at present, it would make a lot of sense to have a good detector as standard prospecting equipment to identify targets and places for working, than take a “hit and miss” approach, and waste a day digging and get little to nothing for your effort, unless you only want to get out the house!
