The youtuber (MRE reviewer) Steve1989mreinfo also does something similar, but not sure if it's a play on his or they just both do it naturally and don't know about one another at all. He also says stuff like, "Let's get this out onto a tray. *toss* Nice!"

The amount and size of that gold is exactly what to expect even in gold bearing rivers in Michigan. I've done hours and hours of panning in Michigan and found microgold and very little of it. I actually sent you some of my concentrates from a Michigan river so that will give you a really good idea on the gold we find in Michigan.

My son and daughter in law got a few yooperlite stones out of lake Huron while over camping last year. I love my rocks lol. He has given me a few very nice pudding stones and Petoskey stones. I have a few nice aggies from lake superior too id love to find a small greenstone

I was told by an older gentleman that gold from Michigan would sell more as a michigan sample to a collector than the gold itself, lol That he collected gold from every state he could. He wanted a sample from every state and frim other counties. He had them all labeled in little jars.

Isn’t amazing how far you have come! Love the look backs and the progression of technique!!

The casino isn't too much fun but they pull in lots of good artists for concerts lol I've thought about looking for gold and diamonds here in michigan Over by Muir michigan they find diamonds and gold and many many Indian artifacts but where you go to dig the artifacts are sent to a museum or to the local tribe. In my area we find lots of arrowheads. I wonder if my grandson would enjoy digging in the dirt with his crazy grandma. We do go rock hounding already. I just didn't want to do a lot of work for no pay out.

Hi Shane from Michigan, been prospecting around here for a few months now. Almost have enough to buy a cup of coffee 😂. Imo, if you can find gold in Michigan; everywhere else should be easy

First gold I found in Colorado was Glacial gold (Near Franktown). My father told me if I could find gold in panning those sands I could find gold in the Colorado gold belt. Happy hunting out there brother.

Thanks for another great video. That looks like the size of the gold here in Iowa. So I dont get a lot, but on the plus, I can go out and pan 5 minutes from home.

spent hours in southwest Ohio and thats about what we see too. Glacial gold on the north face of moraines. Crushed to a very fine gold.

If I only knew that there was glacial till gold in Michigan years ago. I'm too busy nowadays to look for some.

Well now I finally know what that silver "etch-a-sketch" sand material really is in those bags. I was actually going to email you about it. BTW thanks for standing behind your products and taking care of customers.

Check out Roaring Camp in California. They also have pay dirt and they find lots of gold there.

@@Klesh came up with the idea after a trip to Dahlonega, GA and did the gold mine toor. He was so excited about finding gold. It’s hard to find ways to bond with a 10 year old but this seems to be working out pretty good.

I wonder what it would be like to pan with rubbing alcohol? Other than the fumes, I bet it would make for some clean panning. Thoughts? Maybe try it sometime as an experiment in a future video?

You don't. At least I never do. I almost always bring my river concentrates home and do the tedious work away from the river.

I'm actually thinking of doing my own rock hounding promoting type of channel or specific to paydirt stuff. It is crazy you started with guitars it doesn't seem normal for a metal head to go from doing covers to builds to PROSPECTING I never thought I'd see myself getting into it. But you should check out a few of my covers man if you ever get bored
