Very cool but I can't afford this setup. I'm just trying to make these brass screws shinier. I already clean, and polished them. Is there a lacquer or finish you'd recommend to make brass shinier and similar to gold plated.

Did they have to wear masks around the cyanide containing baths? Or was wearing gloves + a well ventilated facility enough?

I'd imagine for low batch orders like his (1) it wouldn't be really cheap since most shops hate doing prototype work. That being said I'd say a couple hundred bucks

I have heavy necklace chains that I wear that are 14k gold plated material over brass.. I wanted to ask Leif, do you by chance know the best way that I could could clean my gold plated brass necklaces? Is there a difference in color between a gold plated brass and gold plated bronze? Or would they look the same since it’s gold plated?

Why is brass plated with copper then nickel before the gold plating? What is the rational for this sequence?

yes, its gold, if it wasn't I would say brass plating or something similar

If you rub it off! But its real gold. Be nice and it will be on there forever.

That's gold effect but not real gold.
