Same kind of "foreshadowing" is put on Gojo at same time as her: He's put into past tense with "dispatched" which both means "send out" and "died"; The song released before fight has Makima's ost play at last seconds; Coughing at start could be assumed as Mold devil taking effect on Gojo; The date of the fight is before Gojo's birthday (December 7) which in Chainsaw man had a very bad thing happening on character's birthday including Makima doing it. It really made the preview so tense for either Gojo or Makima possibly losing.

@@theredpillneo2296 Arguable. Fire Punch, Fujimoto's previous work before CSM, specifically had interpretation of afterlife as cinema. Multiple works of Fujimoto did have soon to be dead characters end up in cinema. Having all LOSERS sitting with Makima ain't no coincidence. If they wanted just Makima in cinema for CSM reference, it would be without Guts, Vader, Alex and CU sitting on background.

Something I wish was mentioned in this episode of Gojo’s analysis: Gojo learned how to heal himself with the reverse cursed technique for the very first time after he was stabbed through the throat, chest ripped up, and the rest of his body stabbed into swiss cheese. He did this when he was 16 years old; over a decade before the show’s events begin to take place.

Plus while they have similar speeds(they said Gojo could scale to em waves), only Vader had precog so he would know about the unlimited void is a threat.

@@alphacult6873 Gojo still has to activate Unlimited Void, meaning there's no reason that Vader couldn't just force crush him first, since he would logically be able to act fastest.

The fight portrays Gojo shockingly accurate, like usually in DB some characters tend to feel out of character but here, Gojo feels like Gojo, like Nem said, his cockiness and laid back side of him are portrayed really well and he do be having a bit of a sadistic side to him (especially during that first Shibuya fight with the disaster curses)

The since you're so weak line is a reference to an iconic scene in JJK where he says the same thing. It probably sounds cooler in Japanese and the context is less of an outright taunt and more playful and passive aggressive.

Gotta love how Gojo made Nemesis his fan just due to how much of an troll and an asshole he is during the fight.

I love the storyboards for this fight. That extra bit ending would really be nice to include but i understand why they didn't. I would love to see Gojo to see Nayuta with Denji on a walk to remind people that hey, even if Makima is dead, a much more interesting character takes her place. Well i guess it's arguable but whatever, Nayuta is one of best things about part 2.

To appreciate Nayuta's goofyness and wholesomeness that refills the empty hole left from Power and Aki deaths is universal. And again,i didn't insult her, just said arguably, character can be interesting just by being entertaining, not just being mysterious and it's not like she got nothing going for her, part 2 just starts and the events are ramping up, Nayuta yet to actually show herself off just like Makima in part 1.

And the fight between them was just another Typical Couple Fight which started because the Husband was being a Jerk to the Cinema they were in and the Wife felt so embarrassed that she had to teach her husband a lesson.

Devils and Cursed Energy being equalized is actually pretty important for the Gojo win as if they didn't do that, she would not be affected by Limitless Void as domain expansions do not affect beings with no cursed energy. And if that is the case, then he just dies to Bang as Hollow Purple without the sure hit effect isn't enough to kill Makima. Additionally, it also leaves Gojo with zero way to bypass the contract, so he just kills himself too.

We actually don’t know how exactly the mold devil works. You kind of have to prove that the range is infinite. Even so gojo could probably heal it off And if it was that great of an ability it kind of bags to question why wouldn’t makima use it more often. Hollow purple who erase makima which is different from killing her. bang is something the DB got wrong it’s some sort of force that travels so it’s never hitting gojo in the first place (it shot denji to space and made a crater in a wall after being used against power so it for sure travels) even without purple gojos abilities still work on the molecular level and it’s very questionable if makima regen works at that level as different types regens have levels.

Nem has the ability to predict future death battles if he is joking about them

The mention of the connection between cursed spirits and devils, as well as Gojo being a citizen of japan who is under the contract is actually really important. Gojo going all out is more than capable of killing everyone in Japan, and with him under the contract, it meant that he would not be able to resort to that as a win con. And since they assume devils work the same way cursed spirits do, it would mean that gojos 6 eyes would let him figure out how makima comes back to life so he doesn't just keep on killing her over and over waiting to see if she gets tired or something. Also his domain wouldnt affect her if she had no cursed energy

As a fan of neither of these series, I really enjoyed this episode. Analysis was good for both, the fight was even better, especially the transitions from sprites to hand drawn stuff as I didn’t expect that. The extra long conclusion was ABSOLUTELY needed for this matchup as this was easily tied with Billcord for closest matchups this season. I know there are people that don’t agree with that but that is my opinion, plus with the abilities these two have, I’m not wrong in saying that. Anyways, still a great episode and that next time came outta nowhere but everyone is hyped for it, including myself. Can’t wait to see what happens.

The next time was already hype but hearing max editing the episode made the hype bust through the roof

I think my own personal biggest problem with this fight (other than Makima's poor characterization) is how they got so much of Makima's contracts wrong, the most glaring one being the contract with the Prime minister, it doesn't transfer her death like what happened in the animation instead it gives a random Japanese citizen an illness or makes them have a accident like a car crash

As someone who hasn’t seen jujutsu kaisen, I really liked how Gojo was portrayed in this episode and Makima was pretty nice as well. a nice and solid high 8/10 for me

Without the Verse equilization Makima would've been totally immune to Domain Expansion. Dunno if she would've won with that immunity, but it wouldn't have been so 1 sided considering they both would only have like 1 win con. That being Hollow Purple and Bang.

Nobody's immune to Domain expansion. Not even Gojo's infinity is immune to someone else's Domain expansion. Ignoring it would also be ignoring all of Makima's contracts with everyone in CSM which is why the rule merger has to happen.

No different than an inanimate object like a building. Sukuna's domain is special because it's an open barrier that attacks everyone and everything in like 200 meter radius. No other Domain has been shown to have the same capabilities. Not even Gojo's.

GEGE even put statement that ppl that doesn't have any CE, Barrier DE sure hit attacks won't touch them, they can move freely in and out of Domain & the user of the Domain won't sense them. Culling Games Arc. Makima doesn't have any CE and her verse doesn't use CE as their power system. So every Barrier Domain Expansion won't work on ppl that are from different verses. The ability is useless overall. This is why I said Gojo fans & 99% of the JJK Fandom speed read the manga, And only care about fights. The power system is so complicated and so bad, that ppl just shut their mind off, whenever GEGE put an explanation of how the abilities works.

I can understand why they did it. If they didn’t add the equalization or Gojo being a part of Makima’s contract, there is a chance Gojo still wins but I don’t think people would believe the outcome, especially since they gave Makima the speed advantage. And they wouldn’t add one or the other since that would be an unfair advantage. Adding both makes this fair for both combatants and gives us a conclusion that people will believe.

The biggest problem with this fight is that Makima is *TOO EXPRESIVE* in the fight as in CSM she is always subdued in her reactions and having never given a scream like that , however I can understand why DB did it , as to have a more satisfying finish

But like, when Makima killed Power and Denji asked her if he's dreaming, Makima literally laughs her ass off and proceeds to tell him that she'll continue to kill everyone and anyone he'll have a any relationship with and that he's undeserving of a normal happy life. Yes, she can be emotionless but she'll show how much of a psychotic bitch she can be as well. And in a Death Battle animation that's around 3 mins long, you gotta make full use of that if u wanna make her interesting in the fight.

While I'll admit the conclusion made it sound like a lot more of a stomp, the takeaway I had about the matchup was that Makima had a few unreliable or unlikely kill methods, while Gojo had one practically guaranteed kill method. It was interesting to see that thought out via the interactions and rules of each of their powers.

I would have never noticed the dead people easter egg if I didn't watch your review

honestly this episode is in a similar boat to me as dio vs alucard. an episode i just wanted out of the way cus i was tired of the matchup and didn't care about the characters, but in both cases the episodes ended up being highlights of their seasons for me.

I am personally hyped as hell for Courage vs Scooby-Doo. It's one of my favorite match-ups

On the "Death Battle doesn't do research" thing: I agree, the longer final analysis is really appealing. Many people watching the videos are reading the corner cards, which is why almost every Desk of Death Battle has them point out how people in the comments are bitching about things in the cards. Death Battle makes mistakes, sure. But that isn't "bad research." For how fast the episodes are coming out this year (2/month instead of 1/month), I'm honestly impressed with how well researched they have been for these. Time crunch is hard.

It's definitely not accurate when it comes to Makima's characterization. The beginning is pretty perfect. But as the fight escalates and Makima shows off more emotion, it's something and a lot of other CS fans took issue with. She wouldn't laugh maniacally. She wouldn't scream out like that. She'd remain stoic to the bitter end. Like she did in the manga.

​@@AquaStudiosYTYes, Makima does show emotions. But she doesn't feel Pain, due to her japanese federation contract of automatically transfer damages to them. HP hurting Makima would not make her scream. We literally saw Makima fought Denji at the graveyard, she got her limbs and head sliced up by him & she only had a cold expression on her face. Makima got head shot by Gun Devil bullet, she got a cold/shock expression and then she smiles and turned her brain matter into a halo.

To address the Japanese citizenship rule at 5:08 and how it affects Makima’s wincons at 16:30, they essentially made it so that Gojo couldn’t win via sheer brute force. Often in this debate, two prominent questions are brought up: 1.) Can Gojo kill all of Japan? 2.) Does Gojo have a way around the Prime Minister’s contract damage transfer? The Unlimited Void became imperative to Gojo’s victory because it negated both of these arguments and enabled Gojo to bypass what would’ve been his inevitable death. Even if it’s in the millions of chances, it’s not that aspect which is scary, it’s the fact that it became impossible to kill Makima without Gojo having to kill himself first. Makima then has a wincon of attrition and could easily outlast and kill Gojo once he’s exhausted his Cursed Energy reserves. Of course, there’s a lot more Death Battle could talk about regarding this contract, but that’s the general justification for including this rule. 👍

Nice, now this means that I'll have to wait for Yuji vs Denji 1-2 years from now. Happy Halloween! Halloween..... HALLOWEEN..... HALLOWEEEEENNNN!!!

Loved this episode as a fan of both Jujutsu Kaisen and Chainsaw Man. Makima’s character portrayal took a bad turn towards the end, but it doesn’t detract from the gorgeous animation and voice acting from the episode.

During Boomsticks joke about people dying in the toilet they show a clip from No More Heroes so this episode has to be a 10/10 for me entirely because it confirms they know Travis Touchdown exists.

9:18 well we’re getting Galactus vs Unicron now so maybe

I love how nobody knows how Makima’s damage transfer contract work and why it would eventually get back to Gojo since they made him a citizen of Japan I will give them the Unlimited Void thing because even if there is proof in CSM that Makima won’t be affected by it, there is no actual showing of it But the damage transfer thing won’t pass the information along just the effect of an attack and everything Gojo does count as attack so it wouldn’t stop until everyone is dead including Gojo Then again they could just say Gojo killed the whole of Japan and is unaffected by Hollow Purple so he still wins It’s kinda weird they didn’t go all out with that

There is one plausible explanation, the rules of domain expansion. Any attack is guaranteed to hit, so it makes sure that it targets *only* Makima.

As someone who started with the 2 classic I must say it's a massive progression in terms of storytelling, no-filler nonsense and high fight-IQ battles. Both also evenly match each other in terms of dark and twisted, violent themes.

Spoiler alert: but that some rando taking a fat L in the domain Expansion IS Gojo's lower half when he loses to Sukuna

So I’m the opposite on Makima’s death. Honestly I don’t give 2 shits how much serotonin you get from hearing Makima scream in pain. It’s still so wildly out of character that it completely took me out of the fight. Even the Maniacal laughter was not in character. They took away what made Makima such an intimidating character and just decided to do stock villain death to make the Gojo fans happy. Spoilers for CSM: Makima literally dies in the manga and she doesn’t scream in pain or fear. She literally gets murdered by Denji in an act of love then proceeded to get consumed which literally erases her from existence. But Makima knowing this just remains her stoic self. So imagine my frustration when Makima has basically just transformed into a completely different character all just to get the serotonin boost. Honestly I feel like Gojo’s nonchalant attitude after the fight would have had better impact of Makima did remain her stoic self. Imagine purple is consuming Makima and all we see is her eyes piercing the purple back at Gojo before they fade away. It only serves both characters even better. And that’s why it’s so unjustifiable that people seem to not care if a character is misrepresented just cause there favorite character killed the bad lady.

I agree with this. When I watched this I was shocked by how they mischaracterized Gojo and ESPECIALLY Makima, the start of the fight was good but it got worse from there. Both are incredibly smart fighters and Gojo, despite his taunts, would be able to see how much of a threat Makima is and and would start fighting more cautiously due to his lack of knowledge of her abilities. Makima would not be showing anywhere near the amount of emotion she showed in the video. She'd likely be able to see that trying to kill Gojo with brute force would be impossible, so she'd probably try to limit Gojos abilities however she could, likely by forcing him in a situation similar to his fight with the disaster curses. Either that or she'd simply fight aggressively in order to bait Gojo to repeatedly kill her until he is killed via her contract with the prime minister. Honestly this fight could've be much more enjoyable if it was longer and the characters actually acted like themselves.

Then why do they say multiple times in the analysis that the control devil might come back when it literally can't based on what they said the consumption did?

@@HolyAlondite Because the control Devil is one of the four horsemen who have shown a limited resistance to the effects of the chainsaw man’s consumption. They can remember things that have been erased from existence despite everyone else forgetting as it never existed. So there is a precedent for them to be able to come back. But they just get reincarnated. Plus it’s weird for Denji to consume someone and not have this ability take effect when that’s basically the whole point of the Devil.

8:25 Yeah i also love Makima reacting to Infinity. It's also funny, since she knows that ppl can have Barrier abilities. (Darkness Devil reference) Also Limitness & Infinity are two different abilities. Infinity is the barrier that's around Gojo. Moving on... Death Battle representation of Angel Devil weapon that Makima used on the Infinity Barrier was poorly done. Every angel devil weapons can interact with things in different planes of existence. This is shown when Aki used Angel Devil weakest weapon power & kill Ghost Devil that moves in a different planes of existence. Due to Ghost Devil is the embodiment of actual ghosts (Concept) So this fight should have goes to Makima, the moment she did that.

Nah You still have to prove that angels weapons don’t have to travel or have infinite range or they just aren’t hitting gojo. Even getting hit by angels weapons might not be quite so bad for gojo to say the least as well. kenjaku described the body as the soul and the soul as the body meaning there 1 in the same. Nanmai was able to protect his soul subconscious (against mahito) and Gojo UV was proven to be able to affect megumis soul and gojo was able to fend off attacks from mahito whose powers are soul manipulation. And trust when I say that if mahito could just walk up and kill gojo kenjaku would have tried that already (and this isn’t just an assumption as mahito DID fight gojo and really couldn’t do much of anything) And cursed spirits in the verse could legit just be similar concepts as well, as we know they can walk through walls and cannot be perceived by normal humans.

“Frank vs Leon zombies” Is it wrong I want to use the term “Alucard vs DIO zombies?” Those zombie sprites get reused quite a bit (or at least enough to where it is getting noticeable), but the fight was still enjoyable.

I personally am a little disappointed with this. The potential for great interactions with these two characters being in the same universe was comparable if not superior for what Homelander vs Omni-Man had. In a world where Gojo and Makima both exist, it doesn't make sense for them to take each other so lightly since they'd probably be considered the #1 and #2 supernatural hunters in the world, and it would also give us a unique dynamic rarely seen in either character's home series where they actually have to take a fight seriously because they know if they don't they will probably die. And it feels like Makima being a member of the actual government was completely ignored, JJK's leadership is corrupt as fuck so they would probably consider her a necessary evil, it seems way more likely for Gojo to go after her on his own. It feels less like Gojo and Makima are part of the same world and more like Makima and some devils she controlled were randomly isekai'd into the world of JJK.

@@adrianrodriguez8434 I'm not asking for a 13 page novel, just something like Homelander vs Omni-Man, Iron Man vs Batman, James Bond vs John Wick or something similar where the characters are aware of each other in some way. It's the only thing I liked the matchup for since it's not that strong thematically. Gojo wouldn't take the embodiment of oppression so lightly and Makima wouldn't take the strongest sorcerer in the world so lightly.

Him not knowing who that dead guy was in the hollow purple scene is so fkn hilarious to me especially if you know who it is.

Btw before the fight when db were saying the ground rules, it was extremely important and potentially changed the outcome of the fight

Gojo calling her weak is a reference to his lines when talking with the curse Jogo

My only problem was whether Infinite Void could really bypass Makima's contract with Japan's PM she did say even illness will be transferred to another...n the refernce to the Doll Devil is heavily flawed for Dool Devil case they are connevted but Makima's case she isint connected

It's so funny that once he got hit once he got pissed and ended the fight in 1 attack that alone gave me Omni Man vs homelander vibes

Somehing funny to note is that the episode kind of spoils itself at the start. All of the losing combatants are at the movie theater Makima was at and it is specifically stated that Gojo was sent to find her.

Kinda funny how they made the good guy the asshole 😂

yea, gojo has shown tendencies to play with people, but normally doesn't go full asshole.

I will say another thing that very much depended on Makima and Gojo being from the same Japan is the fact that Makima actually knows who Gojo is because of it and therefore can’t use her control Devil ability. Probably the biggest hax she has to be able to win and since she has prior knowledge of Gojo’s existence thanks to their rules, she can’t use ut

This is the first Death Battle that completely changed my opinion on the outcome, they didn't even bring up the reason why I though Makima won and they still changed my mind. Epic Oh yeah I'm stating it here that the next time of Scooby vs Courage I'm almost sure will be sans vs The Judge, I'm not gonna say why I just got a gut feeling

The complaints about Makima being out of character are right, her stoicism isn’t a mask, she just like that My main complaint are how the hybrids didn’t… do anything? The only exception being Barem, and then they just… ditch the fight?

I don't know if they just explained it poorly but from what I could tell all she had to do was aim for the face and go bang?

Some of my gripes as someone who read all of CSM and JJK: 1. Gojo would not be able to use Hollow purple after using Unlimited void since it's a ground rule that sorcerers cursed techniques go haywire for some time after using their DE 2. "Makima can't control gojo", people say that Makima wouldn't be able to control gojo, but she would be able if she proved her superiority no? And she pretty much did? She beat him before hitting him with the chain, IN HER EYES she got him on his knees, what matters is her perception of it so she would be able to control him at that point. 3. Limitless being an instawin for Gojo - they say that Makima works exactly like Santa Claus... Which is wrong - Santa Claus shares consciousness with other people at the same time, Makima. doesn't. She transfers her injuries ONE PERSON AT A TIME, it wouldn't work like they said Also there are people who say the information that UV puts in your head is infinite so Makima would be toast anyway and... That is also wrong, if you read or watch shibuya you would know that in 0.2 seconds of gojo's domain being activated, the amount of into put into people's heads was 6 months, which also wasn't lethal to them, meaning the amount of information overload depends on how long UV is active, which also explains why jogo didn't become a permanent vegetable... If anything he was already able to speak a few seconds after coming out of UV

And while i don't hate that gojo won i just feel like the fight would be much better if it was longer, like makima didn't get to show even half of her arsenal and they just kill her off in a way that breaks the rules of both series😮‍💨

Another thing to add that db didn't state is that Makima's contract with the Pm makes it so that the citizens die of illnesses or accidents not the injuries she would have gotten

@@Technodingus the animation is just for show, it's not always one to one accurate. If that was the case then most fights would just end instantly. Even still they literally show examples from the Manga of what you're complaining about happening to Makima

I know you haven’t watched JJK but you’re mini oh some rando caught an L in the Domain Expansion is absolutely hilarious considering who this guy is and his relation with Gojo

So them establishing curses and devils as the same thing actually played a rather big part, specifically, domain expansion does not work on those without cursed energy, if they hadn’t clarified it, you would have a lot… more people saying domain expansion shouldn’t have worked.

I didn't like the animation too much - felt like the fight was too short. Makima could have pulled out more of her contracted abilities and thrown just larger groups of cannon fodder at Gojo. Gojo could have done things like his .2 seconds Domain expansion to stun a large group and drop a maximum Blue on them. Also since they were clearly trying to evoke the first time we see Gojo use Hollow Purple in the anime, it feels like they could have also shown him fusing a Blue and a Red to do it - he's doing it while Makima is being stunlocked by Unlimited Void so he can take his time a little if he wants.

I absolutely agree with the hollow purple one. Maybe when she is stunned, half of her face is slowly covered by blue in front of her while gojo says 'through heaven and earth' And we shift to Gojo firing a red and an animation of red and blue colliding and forming a giant hollow purple with Gojo finishing 'I alone am the honoured one' And the hollow purple then hits makima.

This episode really sold Makima short while trying to ride the Gojo hypetrain. Missinterpreting how some abilities work and flat out refusing to use others. Claiming that Gojo's teleportation wouldn't let Makima gain any distance while completely ignoring her own teleportation options that, while not as spammable have far more range and can cross dimensions. Casually mentioning her stalemating the Darkness Devil without going into what an insane feat that is. While the Darkness Devil's power is difficult to calculate, it's of a similar magnitude as the second primal fear to be revealed, the Falling Devil, who selectively reversed gravity across THE ENTIRE PLANET as casually as you or I would order a pizza.

She still can’t hit gojo is the thing as bang actually does travel (the hole behind power/ sending denji to space) the ritual thing probably has a limit otherwise it begs the question why didn’t she use it on Santa Claus, darkness devil, quanxi etc. And even if it could be used the force would be stopped by limitless. Speed wise gojo is probably faster as a heavily injured sukuna was dodging EM waves and gojo was able to out pace sukuna many times in the fight. So she probably won’t be able to get anyway and teleport. Makima does have a lot of weird and interesting power but in a fight like this a lot of those just don’t matter since they can’t touch gojo.

⁠​⁠@@AllBladesCut​​⁠Bang hits and gets to him since it’s a telekinesis attack; Denji attacks the Darkness Devil and his attack gets stopped while Makima’s bang actually hits. Obviously we don’t know if the Darkness Devil’s barrier is the exact same as Gojo’s since there’s no explanation so call it headcanon or assumptions, but taking it at face surface, Darkness stopped a physical attack from Denji and still ended up getting hit by bang; if it were a physical attack it should be stopped then. As for chainsaw man getting pushed into space, each time she says bang, he’s instantly shot up into the air; when throughout csm there’s always sign of a projectile traveling (for proof, in chapter 88 on page 8 she’s starts using bang on chainsaw man; the previous page shows the spear devil throwing his spear with an obvious path of travel. You saying he’s “probably” faster suggests you haven’t read csm which means you don’t know any csm feats, because Makima fights a weakened Gun Devil, the same Gun Devil that took out 1.2 million people around the entire globe in 5 mins, which is a better speed feat than literally anything that happens in jjk. Going by DB’s rules, she would also have the Future Devil under her control, giving her precognitive abilities which all but guarantee she would have a consistent speed gap on him. The only ways Gojo would win is with IV or HP, but 1. Gojo never even activates IV and immediately follows with a HP in the manga so even the way he won his DB is bs, 2. It’s not a guarantee that Makima gets too affected by IV since she doesn’t have CE regardless, unless you’re doing verse equalization, 3. There is no where in the manga that states HP as matter erasure, and since it’s still classified as an attack, Makima’s contract would still go into play, meaning Gojo would have to kill her 120 million+ times, which there’s no stamina feat in jjk to suggest that.

@@AllBladesCut No feat? You must have just ignored the chapter I cited because the feat is there. It still managed to get past Darkness’ barrier, as well as there being no signs of trajectory anytime its been fired. When chainsaw is sent into space, there are only sudden pops appearing near his mid section, with no delay between her saying bang and him getting sent higher and higher to space. Contrast that to the entire Bomb Devil arc, where every time she throws her head or piece of her body to activate her power, we see signs of trajectory. Or anytime the Gun devil fired a bullet on his way to fight Makima; between chapters 75 and 76, we see a path of trajectory for many of the bullets shot, however there’s never any trajectory for one of Makima’s bangs. There isn’t much to suggest bang doesn’t get past limitless, unless you just think bang is a physical attack even though there’s evidence to suggest otherwise.

This doesnt prove anything you just said as we dont know what happened. Hell its VERY VERY questionable that darkness even had his barrier up at the time. The post battle analysis was littered with misinterpretations and bad justifications for Gojo’s win Now even though I don’t disagree with the outcome, how they argued it is so dumb, ESPECIALLY since they could’ve just said Gojo is Light Speed, he just wins with that bad of a speed cliff, in spite of Makima’s multiple win cons This episode hurt, as a fan of both of their series, I made a whole ass thread of how bad the Post Battle Analysis was

The one point where the verse equalization kinda mattered was with Unlimited Void. They mentioned that with the verse equalization, the infinite information goes to all of Japan, including to Gojo himself. But ironically he resists it so it doesn't actually matter lol, so ultimately I agree with you that it felt kinda pointless

The problem is that he wouldn't resist it since he wouldn't be hit by UV but an equivalent amount of damage through an illness, accident, or just his brain being directly damaged.

Yeah ill be honest, writing for this episode's fight was super bad. Makima felt more like an impostor wearing their skin and gojo somehow managed to talk less than she did. Hell, the whole fight both of the characters are literally just spouting one liners at each other with the other character either not reacting to them or saying an unrelated one liner back Sucks since a lot of this show's value is in the character interactions, but this fight was some Deku vs Asta tier stuff

I caught up with CSM within a week for this death battle. I'm not disappointed the manga went WILD in the best way possible. I still don't care about JJK tho.
