Robert, thanks for a highly useful video. My question is can I see the power level being output with AD200 is in TTL mode? I want to optimize my workflow where I start with TTL, then switch to manual for fine tuning. I have not found a way to do that as it seems that switching to manual just returns last saved output level.Instead of staying with last used power level (in TTL mode)

That would be the TCM function on Pro series triggers, otherwise it just uses memory to keep your last manual setting.

Woof. Yeah the Nikon speedlights are really overpriced and underperforming compared to what's available from 3rd party flashes these days. It's pretty sad that they haven't been able to develop something more competitive.

Robert, thanks for all the great tutorials. I'm using a Nikon D7100 with a X1 Trigger and a mixture of Godox AD200 and the Flashpoint version. HSS is initiated at 1/250, rather that when it is exceeded. My camera's flash sync speed is set to 1/250. With the shutter set to 1/250, when I take a photo, the AD200s automatically go into HSS mode. I'm not sure if this is a bug in the camera firmware, or a setting issue in the trigger and / or flash. Any thoughts? Thanks.

I believe it's a Nikon specific bug and I'm not positive it's ever been addressed via firmware. Sorry, if I was still a Nikon user I'd probably be more in the know if there was a solution. Did you try to ask the Godox User Group on Facebook?

likely because your firmware is out of date so it's missing a function that was added later. And your flash duration won't display if the flash is in HSS (because there is no t.1 flash duration in hss).

No, the AD200 doesn't transmit an outbound signal. But you could do it via some type of wireless transmitter / intervalometer, like the Godox TR / TX.
