TC Carson made a much more intense voice, just more entertaining to listen to. I dont care if Judge is the better actor. Carson will always be Kratos,for me Judge is just what a very tired,older,calm Kratos sounds like But during the last fight with Thor,as he is throwing him up to the roof you can hear a grunt that sounds exactly like Carson,just before their final clash. This to me proves the classic voice is still somewhere there canonically,it slipped briefly 21:36 If they use Judge for remakes then i am gonna have to fight Santa Monica somehow,along with everyone that supports such a decision

@@newhybrid101Judge is a better actor??? TC preformed, when doing scenes, the only thing Carson doesnt have, is the height and physical appearence of Kratos. Like when speaking, he didn't only used his voice, his entire body was talking. The emotion, the rage, all being showed in his body language.

Came for Young Kratos, stayed for Odin's goofy scream

Santa Monica really outdid themselves with this DLC. But man, TC Carson not voicing young Kratos really got me ITCHING like it was THIS CLOSE to being perfect. Hell, they could make it a paid DLC with TC and it'd be really good.

Although Young Kratos looks out of place at times, I think it shows his emotion more. Especially at the end when he gets his new path, he looks so much more expressed than his bearded self. Awesome DLC from Santa Monica Studios!

I just noticed something at around here: 16:20 I really love the minimal view of shadow showing How appropriate and more to nature Kratos is. It's a very small moment of darkness before cutting down to the camera in full light but seeing that hint of rage is quite beautiful

How much stronger is Kratos now than when he was in Greece? It’s just weird to me how Kratos beat all Norse gods while seemingly holding back. Thor, Baldur, and some of the other gods were able to toss Kratos around a bit and put up a good fight, but once Kratos goes into Spartan Rage he becomes invulnerable to damage and his attack power is increased. In Spartan Rage, Kratos is basically invincible in the Norse Realm. But wasn’t Kratos technically in a permanent state of Spartan Rage the whole GOW3 game? And still he needed help from Gaia to defeat Poseidon, and his whole assortment of weapons like the Blade of Olympus and Claws of Hades to eventually bring down the Greek Pantheon. So if Spartan Rage renders him undefeatable in the Norse Realm, but on par with the gods in the Greek realm, doesn’t that make the Greek Gods stronger than the Norse?

I'd say he's still just as strong as he was in Greece. I believe his status as a demigod practically leaves him immortal with no really physical effects of aging. And his strength is usually as much as he needs it to be depending on the plot lol

Young Kratos would never sit down with a god and have a drink....1000 years prior Thor would be dead already. Still Kratos´ never drops out of his disciplined behavior he learned when he was trained a Spartan Warrior. He sits with a straight back.

It was done for technical reasons due to the scale of the game and the limitations of the time Kratos was written as 6'6 in lore, currently he is 6'4½,small difference, probably due to the Blade Of Olympus going through his spine in GoW3. Severe injuries can cause 1.5 inch drop,and as proof from his scar he doesnt fully heal from that particular Blade If you believe he was 7'8 in lore then every mortal was 7'0 including his mortal wife. They propably used modern heights for the NPCs going by how close they are to him,meaning the average civilian in GoW would be like 5'10 or so. If he was 7'8 then they would come up to his abdomen I am really tired of this myth btw

I learned Elden Ring Garden Of Eyes Mod, used the final battle of kratos against thor, where kratos makes thor stop, and then odin kills thor. Yes that fight theme with kratos and thor, is the same one in theshowcase of G. O. E.

At 21:35 Kratos’ grunt really sounds like Tc Carson which makes the whole thing so much better

He’s a demigod, kratos’s strength and Sparta rage was there before he got the throne of ares. In god of war 2 Zeus takes his God (for lack of better word) status which removes the typical powers of Greek deity(Shape and size shifter, Immortality, reality warping, curses ETC). But he retain the magic he was gifted by the gods until he was trick into putting into the blade of Olympus. By the end of god of war 3, most of his magics were lost due to Greece being turn upside down or transferred into the blade. Kratos greatest powers have always been with him, his strength, Sparta rage and his indomitable will. I hope I explain it well and I apologise for any spelling or grammar errors, I will fix them eventually.
