@@vodkaEditz Exactly. I'm not worried about Kratos dying. I'm worried about he and Atreus parting ways. That seems more likely. Honestly it kinda comes off as sadder to be honest since again Kratos has died multiple times already. A (willing) departure from his son though... That will hurt.

Dude, the creator of GoW literally stated that you can't kill Kratos. Even if he does die, he'll come back again knockin' at your door. Plus, there's already a bit of a teaser where there are other realms that exist than Greek and Norse in the Helheim. Sorry, but if they're going to make another GoW game, they can't do that without Kratos.

He said he can't kill himself because he's cursed, but im pretty sure he could still be killed by someone else like another god. And maybe they're planning to make the next God of War with Atreus as the protagonist, which I would personally hate. I love Atreus but i can't imagine a GOW game without Kratos as the main character

@@mordor1779 i really doubt that Kratos will die. If Kratos dies permanently, than God of War is done for. And they know this. Nobody will kill this man, and maybe, Atreus will die, not Kratos. This would give a reason to keep going with the story.

Or maybe Atreus will stay in Norse mythology and Kratos will leave for Egyptian mythology in the next game, but it would be weird playing Kratos all alone again, it was completely normal with the old games but with the new formula I feel like playing Kratos alone in Egyptian mythology would be weird, there would be a lot of silent and empty moments that are filled in God of War 4 by dialogues between Kratos / Atreus / Mimir

Because if you carefully see,the person showed in the mural has his one arm cut off,and according to the norse mythology Tyr is destined to lose his one arm bitten by Fenrir The game could have a dark ending,Kratos and Atreus(Loki) could part ways after the game and we might get to play as the new protagonist Atreus,in a new pantheon.

There were some mentioning of egyptian mitology through the game,so maybe we'll see Atreus destroy a pantheon alone as well after they flee from the north.
