This looks suspiciously like football.

If there's one thing I didn't like about this era, it's whenever they did 'goal of the season' competitions like this, or 'year in review' compilations, but felt the need to switch camera angles for half the goals so I can't get a good look at them. Stupid.

@wildernessuk You've spotted the flaw in Saint and Greavsie's Goal of the Season competition - that they always launched it three or four weeks before the end of the season and didn't include any goals scored afterwards. Limpar's goal from the halfway line against Liverpool was scored on the Easter Monday - two days after this edition of S&G went out.

Even when Spurs were struggling before, they still played some great stuff 😁 Lineker quit England and Spurs too soon

That season Spurs were awful in results - threw away so many matches, Liverpool, Man Utd, Aston Villa, and Everton at home - the Home NLD v Arsenal was thrown away with missed chances and a last gasp goal given away and Leeds away were perfect examples - but, they insisted on playing attractive stuff. Got us nowhere though. COYS

The atmosphere seems a lot better then than it is nowadays.

Spurs had that yellow kit for 4 years! Also loads of commentators on ITV? Tyler and Parry pre Sky, the great Brian Moore, John Helm and Clive Tyldesley before joining BBC and then going back.

was david hurst goal the winner if i remember right it was great goals i miss saint and grieves so much their is nothing on the tv now even come near these 2

Paul Merson was an excellent player - but I think he's the most one footed I've ever seen. He ALWAYS crossed and shot with the outside of his right foot instead of his left.
