Raymond Campusano cutting 70% of the story and fights ??? That’s a pretty bold statement considering there’s only 2 episodes. If anything, most of the stuff that was skipped was either unnecessary to the actual plot of the show or it was something that could easily be put into a flashback. It doesn’t take much brain cells to understand this brodie. Plus there isn’t much plot in the very beginning of the show anyways, so idk how you can skip something that’s hardly even there. The only solid plot points in the very beginning are the main characters ambitions and their reasons for having such ambitions, all of which can be dealt with through flashbacks which would be presented when the time is right. Sure, as a Webtoon reader myself, I will say that it sucks that the ambitions and the reasons for those ambitions were “skipped” over (for now), but honestly, I think it was an amazing director’s choice, especially for newcomers of the series. The plot really only starts to genuinely develop once Charyeok, Jegal and Mori’s grandpa are introduced, so quit whining. Also what fights have they skipped? The fight with Mori and R? OMEGALUL

I think part of the thing that makes the animation in theses fights so good is that the characters actually have to get to where they are instead of instantaneously appearing behind the enemy. So there's plenty of dynamic running and jumping, which makes even the anime logic of fights more appealing.

This fight gave me goose bumps while I was watching it... Kang was just chilling to see what he's capable of😭 This was straight up bullying

@@riotsel9403 i can easily follow the story. They literally have a pattern of give back story then procreed to fight. The story is just straight to the point consistantly. There is no fluff which was the authors intent between both iterations of the series. But obviously when you have a limited time on stuff you have to cut even the slightest fat considering he wanted to emphisize the combat more for the show. If you treat the show as a visual for the fights and manhwa as basically the encyclopedia it works really well. If you havent read the comic then go read it if your lost on something in the show for extra info, but that info wasnt required to drive the plot along nor was it super important either for character building.

Loved the ep and the fight but I don’t know what was worse the kick to the face at 1:40 or the part where kang was about to break gamdo arms.

"SPOILER-ISH" In the webtoon, instead of Jin kicking Kang after what Kang did to Gamdo, he punches him instead. This punch is probably one coolest things we see in the first few chapters and I wish they would've done it in the anime. It would've been cool something like Saitama's punch from when he fought Genos and blew away the mountain. Also in the webtoon, we see Jin's level temporarily rise from 6 to 13 after he kicked Kang out of the ring, that would've been a cool detail to see. Even then, this episode was very enjoyable to watch.

You can’t compare it with ToG. ToG Is BIG BIG and more story based anime GOH is just action. I dropped the webtoon after the second season.

@@xgerra16 i love both. GOH is not really just about action though. Same with ToG which is not just about story and world building. They are both cool and amazing in different ways.

This anime is raising the bar... It's just too insane 🔥🔥🔥 Only 2 episodes out already but I consider it best I watched this year.

When you're so early that the max quality is only 720 so you cant even see the full movements of Kang Manseok.

Amazing anime i guess he gonna be the best of the year and summer

Stupid Crunchyroll, they are cutting like 70% of the story and fights, they should give them more budget to make it properly, they are telling the story on quick flashbacks because of lack of budget. The webtoon is way better, they are cutting way too much
