Sizing question for those in the know. Advanced New England/Ice Coast rider, 5’10”, 205 lbs, 11.5 boot. Daily driver is a Gnu RCC3 158w. Typical riding is 75% charging hard on black/blue, 25% goofing around on blue/green side hits and rollers. Love Mervin tech for the type of conditions I typically see. Looking hard at getting a Gremlin to make a two-board quiver. From what I have read, the Gremlin will do well in powder conditions and spring slop and just general fun boosting off of stuff. Volume shifted with magnatraction looks like it would have no problems railing high speed turns on hardpack as well. I am torn on sizing: 152 or 155 cm? Boots should fit either, not sure how much high-speed stability/carving prowess I would be trading for agility/playfulness going to the smaller board. Hoping to pick the size that won’t make me want to head to the parking lot to swap out with the RCC3 in the afternoon when the good snow is busted because the Gremlin is too squirrely.

5’9 170 IBS Size 11 Boot. New England resort rider. Alot of icey/corduroy/chundry conditions. Looking to absolutely rip down blacks/double blacks, fly through chunder, small/medium cliffs, pop around, and lay some hard carves. Definitely want major stability over nimbleness… Stuck between a 52/55. Whatcha think ??

I'd go 155 with 11 boots and if you want a harder carver/faster ride. You can easily control it with your specs. Go 152 if you like lots of control and gravitate towards smaller boards for your specs.
