GNS3 virtual bridge cloud setup
Ғылым және технология
In this video I will be demonstrating the default cloud behavior on GNS3.
I will then setup a virtual bridge for the GNS3 server running in ProxMox and demonstrate the new behavior.
- Commands to update ubuntu server
sudo apt update -y
sudo apt upgrade -y
- Commands to bridge-utils
sudo apt install bridge-utils -y
- Netplan configuration
I have two configuration examples for the neplan config, both of which can be seen on the github below.

Once netplan is updated you can apply the changes with this command
sudo netplan apply

Thank you for this... the one piece I did not try was simply removing the Cloud device and adding it back. I have been struggling with it not showing up but now it works great.
Wow man, it's exactly that I was looking. Thanks a lot!
thanks so much for taking the time to make this video, its highly specific but It helped me out of a jam and i would not have figured this out :) - fellow network engineer
Amazing work Man. Thank u!
I followed your steps but still can't get traffic across the bridge. If I use the server's interface through the cloud I get an IP address but I still have a slow connection which is the issue I'm trying to solve with the bridge.
