Hi Argenis! I don't quite understand your question as I wouldn't know what options there are in your field or what your interests are out of your field. A great way to get an idea is to go to any universities' course page/course finder to look at the courses they offer and use them to fill up the application.

Hi, both are great for anyone! :) 'Non-degree' only means you won't be graduating with a Bachelor's Degree in the U.S., that's it. You'll still be studying, doing assignments, and taking exams. I talk about it in this video : kzread.info/dash/bejne/iKeirdd-crPNYqg.html

The status on the online application should indicate your submission. I realized through the progress bar - the platform was different back in 2015. You should receive an email - perhaps check your spam folder? Hi Nadiyah! You're welcome! The J1 visa requires the exchange visitor to return to their home country for 2 years. I'm not sure what visa you were on in 2018, but even if it was the J1, the requirement would've been fulfilled by now. I suggest you check on the previous visa you were on.

Hi Dahirandy, it's subjected to your home university as the requirements are different. I suggest that you compare the subjects' syllabus of the US vs home universities and bring it to your faculty to inquire about it. I spoke briefly about this at around 4:55 in this video, do have a look!

Hi Amr, you're welcome! No, having TOEFL prior to your application submission does not correlate with the chances of being selected at it is not compulsory at this point 😅 I suggest you take the test AFTER selection so you don't have to pay for it yourself - it ain't cheap. Your test will be paid for if you're selected.

Hey Naomi,these videos were of great help! Like I'm looking to apply in the current application process. I took the eligibility test too. Between Jan 2020 and May 2021, I have three more semesters. However, the eligibility test asked me if I had a semester after May 2021.How does this work? There seems to be a lot of gap between the selection and actual intake

Hi Ashwati, glad my videos helped you! Basically, you're applying for the 2020-2021 cohort. So if you get selected, you will either go for Fall 2020 (ends in Dec) or Spring 2021, which ends in May. Hey Naomi After submitting your medical exam form and everything else in the student portal, what was the next step? And how long did it take to get to the next step. I submitted my forms early May and up to now I haven’t heard anything from them. They just said I should constantly check my emails.

Hi Tapiwanashe! Receiving information on student housing would probably be the next step. The timeline differs for each university, so your best bet is to contact the admissions office. They should be in the midst of processing fall documents (assuming you're going for fall semester).

Hello, congratulations on the scholarship! The stipend is enough to get you through, considering room & board (and university bus), and books are covered separately. So the stipend is for your expenses. If you want to travel more than comfortably, then it's up to you!

Hi Ethel, you're welcome! 1) Yes, I don't see a problem with that. The criteria is to be enrolled in an undergraduate degree, which you are. 2) For me, it was face to face. However, given the current pandemic, it may switch to virtual interview - I'm not sure about this.

Hi Jhorman, based on my experience, you should hear from them in about 2 weeks. Otherwise, you can reach out to them and ask of the progress of it. You can take the TOEFL any time after your selection, but make sure not too late as the host institution may have deadlines for document submissions.

@@massinabarchan452 I'm not sure, it would only make sense that you have to meet the minimum score in order to be selected. If you're lucky, they may require you to take an English class in the U.S. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Also, your choice in letter cases are quite unsettling.

Hi LoverOF2010! World Learning will arrange your accommodation for you, the residence should contact you before the term begins. And yes, most likely you will have to share a room as it's part of the cultural exchange purpose.

@@Lover0F2010 The medical test was done after my U.S. visa. It is not flexible as there is a period set by the university, so do keep that in mind.

Hi, I didn't have specific allocation for the program, but I ended up spending approximately USD2.3k. Do keep in mind I allowed myself to spend on trips, shopping, comfort...etc. The stipend given should already be enough if you're not planning to spend much.
