    LMFAO they don't make them like Keith Moon anymore!! I remember watching The Who on TV back in the early 1970s and it was at the end of the show and Keith was destroying his drum set (literally destroying it) and I was cheering ... my parents looked at me as if I was the spawn of the devil himself!!! LOL good times back in those days 👍

    Glens performance at Cal Jam 1 is how I always remember him in Deep Purple. As Bowie said it was incredible. Sucks how Coke has played such a big role in the lives of the entertainers I love. It was especially sad to hear about Linda Blair although not entirely surprising as I heard she took a lot of shit for her Exorcist role. She was about to revisit that role in the sequel. I have a special place in my heart for The Heretic. It was choppy, hoaky, but some genuinely trippy and original elements Then you had a drunken Richard Burton and I gotta assume Linda was coked out (but I can’t really tell in the movie. Perhaps she would abstain when she was doing the actual filming) It’s a great movie if you don’t compare it to the first one

  • @Stefan-

    @Stefan-

    2 жыл бұрын

    From what i remember reading Iommis bio years ago (i have it), he stated something like they (Black sabbath) had as much cocaine as Scarface and smugled it in inside speaker cabinets so they were very much off the chart as well in the 70´s at least. Glenn was with them in the 80´s of course so maybe that had changed for the rest of the Sabbath members, i think Glenn was fired from Sabbath due to his extensive drug use.

Why, oh why would anyone take this stuff? Hughes has talked about how drug dealers surrounded him, pushing their wares, so why not simply say "No thanks, not my thing" and walk away. Then talk to management/security and ask that they be kept away from him?
