We played this as the curtains were drawn around my dads coffin - he loved Glen Campbell. Everytime I hear his songs it brings a tear to my eye. Mum passed away from Covid19 in February this year and I played a selection of his songs to remind her of dad.

Very sad. My Dad's been dead for 30 years now, and he loved Glen Campbell too. I'll never forget hearing all his records when i was a girl in the 60's. Sorry for your loss.

My brother and I are both musicians. Huge fans of Glen. We both loved this song. He committed suicide 7/15/2023. As I listen to this song 10/14/2023 it has a new meaning...bitter yet sweet. .. Adios big brother i miss you.

I vote Glen absolute TOPS for sheer GIFTED TALENT on the guitar. Eddie Van Halen on top for INNOVATION but not quite a peer to Glen’s overall superior picking talents. Oh, and Glen is tops for vocals too. That man’s tonal quality was PURE GOLD! God touched Glen’s vocal chords and gifted him to mankind. As I type this it’s been nearly 4 years since Glen passed thru the veil from Mortality to the Spirit World leaving us no less than SIXTY-THREE wonderful Glen Campbell albums of soul-stirring music to enjoy and cherish - and a hole in the music world the size of the Grand Canyon that no one else can ever fill. -Missing Glen Campbell.

Adiós Mr. Campbell, such a great artist, a beautiful time has gone with his death, my condolences to the family, RIP.

After school I had a part time job teaching guitar. I recall "By the Time I get to Phoenix" & its beautiful chord progressions & the way Glen Campbell sang it; such talent, feeling & skill. He inspired me when I was 15, as did Hendrix, Clapton & certain Aussie artists & bands like Billy Thorpe, The Atlantics, Easy Beats, etc., however, it's Glen's beautiful songs, like "Adios", that awaken special feelings these days. Now some 50 years on, thank you Glen Campbell. Best wishes from Sydney, Australia.
