GLAMPING IN PARADISE | Great Keppel Island Queensland | Caravanning Family Travel Australia EP 51
This week we continue our exploration of the Capricorn Region with a visit to the historic mining town Mount Morgan. Located 40 minutes west of Rockhampton, Mount Morgan makes a great half day trip for the entire family. From the suspension bridge to their historic railway museum, Jasper had a ball discovering this quaint country town.
Next we swap the motorhome for a few nights glamping in paradise on pristine Great Keppel Island, located on Queensland’s Southern Great Barrier Reef. With its crystal clear turquoise waters, 17 secluded white squelchy sand beaches and an abundance of wildlife, no visit to the Capricorn Region is complete without a trip to Great Keppel Island.
We stayed at Geoff Mercer’s Holiday Village, budget boutique accommodation to suit every type of traveller, and a fantastic base to immerse yourself in the treasures of Great Keppel Island.

The quality and filming has improved much and really good music added - great footage guys!
After watching Katie having to tow your van with Paul out of action made me realise how important it was to learn to drive and back our 23.5 ft van.You never know when stuff can happen and you need to step up and take over the driving. I am now confident towing; the reversing needs lots of practice.

Thank you TH! We used a DJISpark for season 1&2, we now have upgraded to a DJIAir2 for season 3. Love the upgrade from a smooth flight POV and also the ability for 48mp images WOW!! We really appreciate your support 😊👍 cheers, Paul
