He is a normal guy who plays football as a job. It's fans who have this weird outlook on these guys that they are somehow better or of higher status than anyone else. They are just normal people in an abnormal world of elite professional football. That is normal on the inside but abnormal on the outside.

I know we're supposed to shoose a shirt and all that but this guy comes across so differently than I thought he would. Very soft spoken and seems like a really decent bloke. Giving back to charity with shirts of opponents you put blood sweat and tears into is admirable. Good luck to him.

Chiellini in a Roy Keane shirt is something I never thought I'd see! As a United fan, I'd have to go for the Keane shirt, but hearing him discuss everything in such a down to earth manner was amazing, and especially about how close he was with his former teammates and idols, including Vialli. What a man, what a player.

Oh, Giorgio, my favorite player! I was really touched by the Vialli shirt. A wonderful man, that left us to early. Rest in peace, legend.

The last proper defender. Glad to have lived in an era as a Juve fan where this man played and to have witnessed him play.

Chiellini is such a modest and down to earth guy! What a beast he was for Juve in the golden era, Love you CHIELLO !!!

Chiellini is undeniably one of the greatest defenders in history. He has done so much in his career, yet he's as humble and as down-to-earth as you can get. I believe that the Vialli shirt was his best purchase because Vialli was a well-decorated player in Italian football. Not only that, but he was an even better person off the pitch. It was hard for the Italian fans to say goodbye to him.

Loved this and the Beckham ones as you can see they both wanted to be there and were happy to talk about their careers and the shirts. Mad how far Ellis has come been watching for many years and many more to come!

dude, there's plenty of international players at Juve and they don't know italian the second they come to Juve so of course he speaks at least a little bit of english. How would they otherwise communicate? You should look up interviews with like Hector Bellerin or Wojcech Szczesny and then compare their english to Giorgio's. He's far from being "like an english speaker" while for example these two are levels above him, both speaking even with an english accent. You can hear this especially when Bellerin is talking.

@@noreturn2231 Bellerin and Szczesny both went to Arsenal age 16; they'll pick up the accent because they're for the most part exclusively around native English speakers at a young age. To Chiellini's credit, portions of his first degree were taught in English and he got that back in 2010. Different situations IMO.

Got to be Chellini in a Keane shirt, totally my favourite. Just makes you remember that even the biggest stars were just kids with their own idols inspiring them to be the players they are today. Great video 👏🏻

I'm a Leeds fan but that Chelsea Vialli shirt is fantastic, what a nice guy and its amazing he speaks so well in English considering he's never played in an English speaking country until now he's in the USA. Amazing video, as always Ellis!

He's actually quite smart, during his time in Juventus he kept studying and got a degree. Even when he talks about the saka's foul you can see how smart he is to think that lucid in that time.

Best purchase has to be the Gianluca Vialli shirt. Chiellini spoke so highly and fondly of a man that was clearly extremely respected by everyone he worked with and fans alike in the footballing world. I’m an AC Milan fan and it’s so crazy to me that one of Juventus’s greatest ever legends was a Milan fan growing up. This was an absolutely fantastic video, different than the other shirt shoppings in some ways, but overall doesn’t feel out of place with the rest of the series. I’d love for you to have on other former/current professional players in the future, particularly ones from outside of England, as most of the guests so far have been English or support English clubs. Nothing against England but variety is the spice of life. If I had to choose a favorite kit I would say the Man Utd Keane kit. My favorite player of all time is Gattuso and I feel that players like him and Keane are so hard to find in the game today. Every team needs that one player in the midfield that plays with his heart on his sleeve and perhaps a little murderous intent. It’s also just a really nice kit with an interesting collar.

My favorite jersey he got was by far the Vialli jersey. Not only is the shirt really good looking but as a juve fan it holds a special emotional feeling and it was nice to see him speak so nicely of him

I loved his duet with Bonnuci during his years at Juventus. These two made history, but it's true that I've always preferred Chielini, notably for his loyalty. For me, his victory at Euro 2020 is the apotheosis of his career, so I'd be partial to the jersey he wore for that competition.

Ronaldo R9 of course was the best shirt of the one he picked. However I loved that Jari Litmanen was in the mix, I listened to a podcast about his career and it is something special with a player that came from the middle of nowhere in a country that doesn't care about football and becomes one of the best players in the world. EDIT: I want to add that ex-referee Jonas Eriksson named Chiellini as one of the nicest players in football and it is easy to see why.
