My nephew was a 200 pound English Mastiff and the love of my life. I could do anything with him (like dress him up) and never complained. Was such an easy dog to walk. I’ll always miss him. This is a great video. Pooh and Mr. Cody share several of the same traits.

Thank you for assuring us this gentle giant will remain in your most loving, caring and financially stable home for the rest of his life. I hope every potential adopter looking at this situation takes a SECOND look at pups they see pics of at breeders or shelters with their heads as well as their heart, to ensure the breed, size and behaviors will work with their own situation including amount of time daily to train and spend with, other family members, home details, future plans, and finances. Far too many animals end up back devastated and forgotten in cages or euthanized because someone only decided to get a pet with their heart and not their head. 😢❤

He is loveable cuddly thats all that he needs to be.

... this dog is reminding me of my uncle's old dog who was also named Pooh Bear. ... he was a Rottweiler-Newfoundland mix and weighed in at 200lbs when I first met him. As long as he knows that daddy let you in, he would be your bestest best friend with all that it entails. The worst he'll do if he knows you aren't supposed to be there is chase you away, barking and snarling, like telling you to go away.

Mastiffs are THE BEST! My sweet boy was with me for 12 years. BEST 12 years of my life! Was he easy, NOPE! Was he worth it, YEP! This is a breed that will drool, and shed all over you, then do the same some more! But no matter what is going on, they will LOVE YOU and everyone else around them!

My girl, Fiona, will be a year on 7/6. She weighs 160 pounds. I previously had a Mastiff/Rottweiler mix that was born next door. When she passed last year I thought I’d just get a pure bred Mastiff. I underestimated the size and strength she would be. She is sweet to everyone she meets. Love her. Your guy is as cute as can be. What a face.

I've owned four mastiffs...best dogs ever!❤ Big cuddle bugs, but super protective of their people and territory. The drool was amazing in how far it could travel. They chewed window sills, doors, chairs, and even broke a water bed!😂 Would get another in a heartbeat.🐶💖

One thing you need with a mastiff this size, is lots of thick rugs about your house. These guys are so heavy, they literally destroy their own elbows on hard tiled or concrete floors because of their weight. My cousin had a big guy like this, he ended up developing large fluid filled bags behind his elbows, because their house was all hard wooden floors.

I absolutely adore Mastiffs ...we used to call them OEM (Old English Mastiffs). I'm in Malaysia and have had the honour of keeping 3 of these handsome gentlemen...they snore, they break wind and they DROOL, but my Napoleon, Hercules and Caesar were so adorable. Unfortunately these giant breeds do not get to live very long. I still miss them lots.

Pooh Bear is that sweet, giant dog we all love. I had a 150 pound Bullmastiff (related) and he was goofy as well. NOTE: he got into chewing during a short phase. I scolded him once and gave him giant rawhide bones and he stopped. He left a chewed tv stand, a marble egg and many books. Rawhide is OUT, but perhaps find him a better REPLACEMENT for shoes, books, etc. LOL. He actually may need stairs to help so jumping down with the huge load he is, won't hurt his bones. Of course, ask Pooh if that's ok. LOVELY DOG.😊😊😊😊
