Watched this hunt in 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022 and here I am in 2023 watching it again. Why? Because there's no other hunting show like THP. It's awesome to see how far you have become over the years. Keep it up boys!

WOW!! most people would have just went over the property line and dragged the buck back on to their own land especially in the cover of night. You have earned my utmost respect for doing the right thing and contacting the landowner. You guys are great role models for the ideal sportsman. maybe its a state thing, but where i live , not only are you allowed to go onto private property to recover an animal, you're legally obligated to do so

This is first hunting show where I'm genuinely as happy for them as I would be for my self or one of my buddies. They do it the way most of us do. Not that there is anything wrong with big private farms, its just not as hard as hunting public ground like this. Well done!

I am so proud you guys are part of the Bowhunting Community! I am happy to see you doing the right thing as far as hunter ethics. You could have shut the cameras off and drug that thing out at under the protection of dark, but you didn't. You did the right thing and called the land owner with the knowledge that he could have taken the deer himself. Do the right thing, for the right reason. The epitome of integrity! 100% the right thing. what turns people bad is when they do the right thing and they have a beautiful deer within eyesight on a neighbors property and they tell you no.

@John Dyer in Pennsylvania you can talk to the game officer as well and then the land owner can tell them no as well. ive seen it happen. ive seen grumpy old men and people that are big time anti-hunters knowingly let a deer rot in their field because they are jerks. if going on a night time recover mission after doing all of that makes me unethical then i am afraid i will have to wear that badge with honor.

See this link www.pennlago.com/three-things-may-not-know-pennsylvania-game-commission-officers-waterway-conservation-officers/ and quote below from PA Game Code A Game Commission officer may go upon any land or water, outside of buildings, except the curtilage of a home in performing his duties; may stop any transportation upon reasonable suspicion or road checkpoints; and search any person, car, clothes, bags, or other containers upon probable cause, consent, exigent circumstances, or other exceptions to the warrant requirement. 34 Pa.C.S. §901(a).

@@etruedus I promise you that they cannot retrieve game. If there are no laws being broken the landowner can choose not to provide entry. I have personally witnessed this on 2 occassions. If you call the game commission right now I will bet you a paycheck they confirm my words. Unless something has changed incredibly recently what I say is fact. I'm pretty up to date on game laws.

Congratulations Ted,I am thankful to have A show to watch that shows hunting by true sportsman. Hunting has turned into A ego contest for a lot of people, I’m A firm believer if it excites you and it’s legal it’s A trophy. THP constantly puts out amazing content. I'm 13 now but last year I had a either sex tag first year hunting and it ran in a deep pond and drownd and we couldn't get it

99% of hunters would have played it safe and continued to watch deer walk that trail from their treestand. Huge kudos to Ted and Jake for having the intuition to get down and set up within shooting distance to that trail. It was a risk and it paid off in a big way!

Aaron’s reaction to seeing that deer in the footage is priceless!!!

As a 60 yr old. I’m thrilled to see young, enthusiastic outdoorsmen ethically hunting! Pass this on to your friends and those that follow you!

I realized this channel was my favorite when I started turning my phone horizontal instead of vertical like I watch all the other hunting shows

I know, where I live these guy's are mostly heathen's. they poach consistently and don't give 2 shit's about anyone else. I've been hunting as a lone wolf since 2007 because of this. the 2x I took a guy from work it always turned into a 3 ringed circus.

I’ve watched this video a number of times and it never gets old , a very young ted who gets the buck of a life time, with a bow , on public land, on video , and in not so perfect weather , with a funny looking hat on , on the ground. I’ve hunted deer for 45 years and not once have I ever even seen a deer that big, and I have harvested over 400 with a bow , I tell you what guys , this is something that people should not take for granted , it was a great privilege just to get to watch this video.

I said it once before when u guys were in Nebraska.... the ability to Make the decision to get down in the middle of a hunt and make a move is great! So many hunters including myself get too comfortable and think it’s too much to get down and move when it’s the right thing to do.
