Someone said it best earlier......no named deer, no manicured food plots, no enclosed heated blinds, just plain Ol hunting and these guys are the best. That was awesome!

Finally it wasn't spoiled by the picture in the thumbnail!! I wish they was all like this I hate seeing the dead deer before the footage I like to not know if they are gonna get away or not. Totally didn't expect to see this kill! awesome footage

Who reads comments before watching the video?! Much rather have the surprise of the kill rather then seeing it in the thumbnail.

I'm lost in wonderment every time the THP kills a deer without a name, that isn't standing in a manicured food plot. How do they do it? Maybe it's cause they're real deal hunting badasses.

Why name a deer? Then it’s like killing and eating your dog. Naming them makes it seem like a wild animal is somehow actually yours.

What a good episode. The filming sequences at the end, loading the buck up really added to it. Makes me want to get out there. All the stuff that is added, telling the story and showing the process, make for great videos.

Awesome guys! I ended up doing a similar thing on the 3rd. Went to scout and prep for a week of kayaking into a spot. Walked 50 yards from the truck and done. A little bittersweet. Spent the last week calling in giants, and screwing around with new tactics, without the bow!

This is why THP is my favorite hunting show. You guys utilize so many different hunting styles, you never know what's gonna happen. Awesome buck, awesome episode!

channel is getting better and better love the way the hunts play out like a show over time its awesome. love that shot placement i learned a hard lesson this year on a heavy bow buck about arrow placement. looks like more toward the shoulder is the better option you would be suprised how in that split second they can move enough to wreck a shot. Took three days but i found my buck tragic ending though did learn. two inches back and he would have been dead in 50 yards

Awesome! That is a hunt that you guys will never forget. I love that you guys just “hunt”. You don’t use gimmicks or try to sell your viewers on the newest buck attractant BS. You are all very humble and down to Earth. I have learned a lot just from your videos. Please don’t ever change your ways because many of us can relate to you, and that is what makes you different IMHO.

I live in Kansas and I hunted this exact spot during rifle season. This was the first year this spot opened up and there is so much activity from the deer here. My dad and I ended up leaving after a three day trip with 2 really nice 8 points. What an experience!

I always enjoy you guys hunting on opportunity. You show many of the ways to successfully hunt deer. Ancient people hunted that way and thrived. Your showing new bow hunters, and modern treestand, ground blind hunters that it can be done. I would like to see you guys do some old school snow tracking to a bedded deer. That is a deer hunting skill that is being lost. It would be fun to see that with a bow. Good Job.
