🍜BÚN CÁ: Make broth from fish and pork bones. Fry the fish and debone it. | Assemble: Put the bún noodle boiled in the broth then put it in a bowl. Put the fish meat on top with some herbs and veggies. Put in the broth and serve.

🍜HỦ TIẾU NOODLES: Soak the rice & grind it through a machine. Put rice noodles out to dry.

🍜HỦ TIẾU: Boil the hu tieu noodles in the water for five minutes. Add liver, heart, pork meat cuts, and intestines. Pour in the meat sauce and add sugar.

4. BÁNH TẰM NOODLE
🍜BÁNH TẰM NOODLE: Soak the rice and grind rice into liquid. Put the liquid rice into the pot and boil it, stir continuously so it won't stick into the pot. Remove from the pot and knead it. Take a small portion of dough and add oil + honey. Roll into small strings and steam the noodles for 20 minutes.

Hi Sonny, 14:03 those are not cassava root, but jícama or yam bean root. It also confusing for Vietnamese cause this in southern Vietnam is called “củ sắn” but in northern Vietnam is “củ đậu”, and the cassava root in southern Vietnam is “củ khoai mì” but in northern Vietnam is call “củ sắn”. So if a southerner says “củ sắn” then it is the Yam bean root, but if a northerner says “củ sắn” then it is cassava root. 😄

Vietnamese vegetarian foods are so underrated, they are good+cheap and you don't really crave meat after eating them for awhile cause there are meat substitudes made from soy product that taste very much like real meat with proper seasoning.
How do you guys not have 200mil upwards Subs ? Like seriously ? I grew up with the Discovery Channel back when it actually was that and this is so so much better ? :D You guys would definetly deserve it !

Sometimes I'm envious of you guys. You get to exercise your pallets with diverse flavors (sometimes gross but most of the time you experience deliciousness). I don't know if your co-host today is part of your team or not or is just your guide for this location but he is hilarious and the two of you are really funny together.
I'm from North East India, here Eels are smoked dried and then can be stored for months. We cook them in various dishes. Please come to North East India and try our dishes because we don't use much masala and turmeric like mainland Indian dishes but mainly just fermented stuffs ♥️
