Looks like C4 explosive on his leg. Great review, Punk! Can’t wait to have him in hand as he was one of my favorites as a kid.

I've been using my Valaverse Urban Trooper as a stand in for Fire Fly. It works for me.

Colt 1911 has this type of barrel option. The hand gun is as realistic as Hasbro has gotten

he s on my list for sure. I still remember when I got him in 84, the image of my room is still in my memory of when I was a teen. him and Stormy were such a thrill for me to have back then. I skipped lunch to keep the money to build my armies. that proved to be a great trophy, testimony of my character traits to achieve something when dedicated. it always stayed with me since. 'if I could build a great gi Joe collection, I can do this as well'... I had most of it, and a Cobra army to match. 4 of each vehicle + and so on. I was nt impressed with the Cobra island version to be frank. yeah, he had character, he looked quite realistic, but... not really Firefly as I knew him. but this one... he totally rocks! he will look super next to my Baroness, Scrap iron, Stormy, pyth vipers and bats. I passed Zartan, dreadnoks, crimson everything, Serpentor, Bludd, Destro. hey, at $50 Can a pop, and I m broke, live in a small apartment... get real. for Cobra, I just want Mindbender, Slice & Dice, red ninjas if they make them, and that s about it. I want iron grenadier Destro if Hasbro decides to make him. pretty much my own essentials. sooo, what do I do with those? I mostly keep them on display in their boxes. but I have a lighted desk in which I make dioramas - scenes of action. I change it once in a while as deco like cool statues. one day, I d really like to build a dio out of cardboard like my bases as a kid. a base room designed like the cartoons s style. I love that you re pro enough to compare with the other version. I like your style of reviews, clean, in depth, good lighting, sound. and mostly, you know what you re talking about. heck, you even have the original one, that commands respect bro. if you could build a dio yourself to present the figures that d be awesome! good show bro.

Extreme sets has your cardboard boxes and they look realistic too, not cheap but I feel worth it.

I like the psycho look in the cobra island version. I don't think either has good looking camo.. I'm gonna pick him up but I like the original just fine

The new Firefly looks perfect. Other versions are nice too though for those that don't want to upgrade

The remote detonater fits on the backpack beneath the red display with the 3 facing out.

Can tell you never played Call of Duty... RC XD (explosive device) is a cool kill streak and that RC looks exactly like the 1 in game. And the mines look like proximity Mines you might stick on a wall or vehicle

Got my Firefly today. EXCELLENT figure(aside from a little loose torso). MUCH better than the cobra island Firefly imo.

I guess the loose ab crunch is across the board, my copy has the same issue.

Thank you SO much for the hint on the elbow bend for holding rifles. My main gripe on Snow Job was I couldn't get him in a good pose with his rifle. Now I can so great video but even more valuable advice. Keep up the good work

Great looking figure , glad they used the V1 design. Would have liked a closer rifle but still a great sculpt. Looks like plastic explosives on his hip .

its a great lookiing figure, a shame about the ab crunch, the issue is also the loose waist, the base of the torso is just unstable which causes, the also loose, ab part to wobble even more as the entire torso rocks back and forth. with regards to the remote storage i just slide it under his bandoleer, directly below his neck and its kinda snug. it also fits in the gap below the red heart monitor line looking screen on his backpack, i dont think its supposed to go there though since its not totally flush

Someone said the remote can slide onto the backpack, but I haven’t looked yet to see if it works.

My abs are super floppy too and my c4 leg pouch had a broken strap out of the box.

I don’t have any issues with the Cobra Island version…love his crazy ass face, BTW, lol…but I still preordered this new version. I expect he’ll probably move a little better than the previous one. And, I like the RC car accessory.

There’s some sort of joint fix stuff you can buy on Amazon and other places but I’ve never used it. If I can find out what it is I’ll post it so people know what to use, and there’s still the same issue with Desert Snake Eyes 😞

Sorry I wanted to answer this and then got busy and forgot to get to it. So I try not to complain about prices, hell I look at the price of everything and see it all going up. I feel like people want to still think things can be made super cheap and a company still turn a profit and no one thinks about how much goes into cost. Now as for paying more to get it from over seas? Now I did it because I don’t feel I need to be first, it helps grow the channel having them early. You get a big hit when you to the review and then another bump when it releases here on the US. Also I look and see if I make it up on the back end (KZread monetization money). If I do it’s a win cause I pay less for the figure and I grow due to new subscribers and people that find the channel. Hope that answers some of your question.
