That would be cool

if the flashlights have an IR filter there's no reason you couldn't use them with night vision I believe. Allot of modern soldiers carry night vision and flashlights on their guns. The use of both is situational.

Great review. He looks awesome. I will take off any loose stuff that gets annoying.

I like the character and figure but I loth that gun with the scope. The last thing a tunnel specialist would carry is a giant M60 (not known for its accuracy) never mind one with a scope. This is the first I've heard of this but tunnel rat is a highly specialized training and I guess some could have been employed as machine gunners IF attached to platoons when not raiding tunnel networks. NOT saying the guys wrong its just the first I've ever heard. The only place id ever seen mentioned a tunnel rat carrying an m60 is an uwe bowel film I cant remember the name of and that man is NOT known for authenticity in his movies.😂😂 SC of most tunnel rats was a 45 auto, a knife and a flashlight from every book I've read. I lot did like to use a 38 special revolver though because they disliked the blast effect of a 45 in enclosed spaces and sawed off shotguns for obvious reasons. By end of war some of the more experienced guys just went down with a flashlight and boynet. Theres a great article on tunnel rats on the national museum of the united states army if you'd like to know more. Id post the link but I know youtube comments and links tend to be a no no but a quick google search should be easy enough. buts here is an quote : "While early tunnel rats entered the tunnels with a M1911 .45-caliber pistol, most found the standard sidearm unfit for the task. The .45-caliber round was too loud and the muzzle flash too bright. If he needed to fire, using a 1911 denied a tunnel rat of two crucial senses for critical seconds. Some used silencers, some did not; some carried shotguns and other revolvers. Soldiers learned what worked best in their area and with their techniques and stuck with them. Viet Cong in the tunnels rarely surrendered, so few tunnel rats wanted to experiment. The knife or bayonet was a perennial favorite: this simple blade was a bayonet probe, booby trap disarmer, snake dispatcher, and weapon in one hand that never jammed or malfunctioned." Now if you like tunnel rat and his M60 THATS FINE! It is just a fantasy army toy after all. 😂 I just wish they included a modern m4 with him like Outback carries as a stockless m4 could make more sense....well minus that stupid unfunctional dual optic on Outbacks gun. A silinced, short barreled, piston operated AR with a folding stock and a IR laser (to work with his modern night vision) would probablymake more sense. Hell a silinced mp5 with and IR laser would probably be perfect if a guy wanted firepower in a tunnel.

Thanks for the review. I'm looking forward to getting this figure and put him in some diorama with Outback and some other Joes being lead by Creepy Woody and "raiding" the display section in my collection I'm making for my female GI Joe and Action Force figures. Ala Revenge of the nerds or porkies....just not so lewd. 😂😂😂😂😂😂

that stupid little ammo box for the machine gun won't stay on on mine. just falls off with any little bump. His head and neck joint are just crazy wobbly. Otherwise I like him. A must have in my collection.

He looks amazing but I have issues with some of the accessories and how they fit.

Nice review. I never understood most of TR’s armament , though it looks cool. I mean is he going to be using the suppression fire of his M60 while crawling around in a tight tunnel? Also, who puts an intense optic on an M60? Maybe someone can educate me on this if I am wrong/uninformed.

Putting a scope on a machine gun is common in the U.S military. We did it all the time on the live fire range and during training.
