As someone who has listened to the Johnny Cash cover of this song many a time, I couldn’t stop smiling while watching this! I loved what you did with the arrangement, and Rick did such an amazing job on the Geoffettes’ makeup and beard styling. Also, I’m glad we’ve finally confirmed the fourth Geoffette’s name is Daryl. In addition to the epic vocals, can I just say how much I love the effort taken to make each of the alternate Geoff's a stand-alone character. Ghost #2 with the big beard and the duster seriously looks like he outweighs the others by about 40lbs, and I just now noticed that #3 is left-handed! Such attention to detail makes my heart happy.

I am continually amazed at your ability to (1) arrange these songs I know very well into versions that stay true to their original spirit, yet are oh so *you,* and (2) create visuals for these songs that so clearly tell a story and are incredibly memorable to boot. I love that you chose to have the narrator as well as the ghost riders represented in the video. Wow, every time I think I've found my favorite by Geoff I watch the next video and now it's my favorite. This was excellent, can't even imagine how much time it takes to get this all sorted out, edited and finalized, excellent job Geoff.
My Mom & I were so excited when you released the first Patron teaser for this, surprising us by giving us the song title. We talked about it frequently, speculating on what direction you'd take but always agreeing it would be incredible no matter what and always ending with how we couldn't wait to see it. Sadly, it didn't work out that way. Suddenly & so very unexpectedly, my amazing, Queen & Geoff loving Mom, my best friend ever, passed away just 2 weeks shy of her 81st birthday and 2 days before the Patron premiere. With a heavy heart and a box of tissues close at hand, I watched the premiere for both of us, but it turned out I didn't need the tissues and by the end of the video my heart was a tiny bit lighter. Your incredible talent, creativity and beautiful voice drew me in once again & soothed my aching heart & soul for those few precious minutes as it did again today and has every time I've listened. My husband was watching my screen during the Patron premiere but couldn't hear (of course I had headphones on) and I turned to him and said "Mom would have loved it". He nodded and said "This is going to be one of those that I wish was three times longer isn't it?". I nodded, handed him my headphones and hit replay. I thank you Geoff for all the many hours of enjoyment your music gave my Mom over the past couple of years. She would watch & listen every day. I remember teasing her last year because she was still watching Monster Mash in December. Her very favorite song though was Ain't No Sunshine, a heartbreakingly ironic choice for me right now since for me, there ain't no sunshine, cause she's gone.

I really love love this mans voice!! This has to be one of the best covers of this song. Johnny Cash would be proud to have heard this.
Who knew such a pleasant countenance could be turned into four creepy ghosts? Production value on this is excellent, along with the singing, of course. Well done!
You always impress with your high's and low's and wide range. In this song it is the richness and resonance of your voice, in its midrange/chestvoice, that i find is most captivating. It seems to carry the song and music so effortlessly, that it feels like a treat each time i hear it. 🍂🧡🍂
Omg! I love listening to that low deep voice ❤️❤️
This was one of my grandmother’s favorite songs. My dad sang it in his cowboy band and, of course, I would sing it with both of them as I was growing up. The song was equal parts scary (ghosts eternally hiding after the herd from Hell!) and fun (the ghosts! and the harmonies!). What a great memory and what a great cover.
Geoff never ceases to amaze me, not only with his range, but with what seems like effortless execution of his entire range. It's phenomenal to listen to and to watch. I know Geoff puts in hours not only on his vocal work but the production of these classics, and once again he hits it out of the park. Thank you so much Geoff for blessing us with your talents!
Two words popped into my head as I was listening to some of your other songs recently, Geoff, and this song just cements that idea. The first is “sculptor.” You take a rather repetitive song and step back to examine it. You take it into your hands and work it, mould it, chisel away pieces here and add contours there, until a masterful work of art emerges. The second is “storyteller” and this one is twofold… The first is how you approach your arrangements. I’ve really noticed with the ebb and flow, the push and pull, the dynamics, the chord progression build-ups - this isn’t just a song you’ve crafted, but a journey. You take us along on this emotional journey through builds and swells and breaks, keeping us on the edge of our seats, eager to see what comes next. The second is in your performance of the song. You aren’t just singing the words; we can see the story in your face as you sing. Your expression and posture are very dynamic, following the same ebb and flow of the arrangement. Not only that, but when the song is upbeat (e.g. Way Down), we can see the genuine joy and happiness on your face as you perform; you obviously had a lot of fun filming that one. (And if not, alternately, you are a brilliant actor.) With Ghost Riders, your face also shows the story, albeit a different story, of course, and each ghost rider has a slightly different story, as does the narrator. Picking one specific musical thing to appreciate in Ghost Riders, I’m choosing your wide range of unique instrumentation, my favourite of which is in the section starting at 0:41, where one instrument perfectly matches your own vocal timbre. 😍

Lyrics An old cowboy went riding out One dark and windy day Upon a ridge he rested As he went along his way When all at once a mighty herd Of red eyed cows he saw Plowin' through the ragged skies And up the cloudy draw Their brands were still on fire And their hooves were made of steel Their horns were black and shiny And their hot breath he could feel A bolt of fear went through him As they thundered through the sky For he saw the riders coming hard And he heard their mournful cry Yippie-yi-o Yippie-yi-yay Ghost riders in the sky Their faces gaunt Their eyes were blurred Their shirts all soaked with sweat He's riding hard to catch that herd But he ain't caught 'em yet 'Cause they've got to ride forever On that range up in the sky On horses snorting fire As they ride on, hear their cry As the riders loped on by him He heard one call his name 'If you wanna save your soul From hell a-riding on our range Then, cowboy, change your ways today Or with us you will ride Trying to catch the devil's herd Across these endless skies Yippie-yi-o Yippie-yi-yay Ghost riders in the sky Ghost riders in the sky Ghost riders in the sky

Dad went to rest 8 years ago this song reminds me of him each and every time...love you dad I miss watching westerns with you😢
Love how you sing with your hands! ❤❤ the voice!
Geoff, this is one of my favorite songs of all time. You're also a favorite singer among the many I listen to and I appreciate your work so much. You can cover a song people are so sure no one could cover right and you prove them wrong. You keep true to the original, yet add your own personality and jest to it and I just love it. This cover was brilliant and I will definitely be sharing this with friends and family. You have no idea how much I needed this today. Hope you and the fam are doing well after the hurricane.
Поражён и очарование голосом и талантом, пересматривал раз двадцать, за неделю, не перестаю восторгаться.
Absolutely♥ love that you did the flash warning before the video. I'm not epileptic myself but have friends who are and it seems like no one else on KZread does this even though it seems like common sense. That being said , I love your work, watch it often , can't get enough !
I wish my Dad were still here to hear this guy. He always loved a bass, and this guy is bass on steroids.
I am so happy to be a patron!! I've been listening to this AMAZING ARRANGEMENT since the Patreon premier and since the mp3* dropped. And don't get me started on the BTS... so good! (* Be a patron => get the mp3, both of the full track and of a karaoke version!)
This is my first time hearing this version of this song. Incredible!
I'm absolutely a HUGE fan! Never have I heard such a beautiful voice!
So unreal that someone can sing that well, look that good while being ghostly and even whistle beautifully, is there anything you can't do? Some songs are meant to be sung by certain people and you were certainly made for Ghost Riders In The Sky.

He plays a pretty mean harmonica, too, ya know! Listen to his 4-part (4 Geoffs!) *"Folsom Prison Blues"* for a fine "taste" of his harmonica playing - _MMM-MMMM!_ 👍🤗

Yes and he plays the piano also, as I said what can't he do? The Folsom Prison Blues was another made for his voice. @@dixietenbroeck8717

@@dixietenbroeck8717 At the end of the FPB video, there are 7 (SEVEN Geoffs). The more the better when it comes to him.
One of my favorite western tunes... man am I looking forward to this.
As a kid in the 1960's, I used to listen to Burl Ives version on an old 78rpm record! This guy is excellent, he modernises these great tracks but does so with respect for the original... well done!
Can't wait to see the Charismatic Voice flinch in awe at the low notes 🤭

I've got a deep-ass voice. Like, it gets comments about it and stuff. This dude dips below my lowest sustainable note like two whole steps or more, and is clear as a bell doing it. I am so impressed right now.

I totally agree. I've got a fairly deep Baritone/Bass voice, but this guy is amazing.🙃
Negative comments should not bother you. THIS is the BEST version I have ever heard of this song. Your voice is amazing ! Listen to this multiple times a day. Great job
What can I say, just fabulous!! All the best from southern Australia. Love your voice/s
I started crying, this was a song I grew up listening to and my parents always played it on guitar and eventually I even learned it on guitar. Hearing it turned into not only a badass but honestly beautiful piece with all the harmonies I can't stop crying and smiling
5 different costumes for one man, to harmonize with himself, in one video. Tremendous amount of effort
Wow!!!! I’ve been listening to this song my whole life and never have I heard such an interesting and moving version!!! These vocals are absolutely incredible. Pitch perfect and such deep bass. Simply amazing. I’ll be listening to this OVER AND OVER!!!!!
Geoff, you and your 4 "brothers" have the best harmony I have ever heard. Some of the stuff you sing, when performed by the original artist just gag me. Thank you (and the "family") for widening my musical horizons (I really do know that you're not Quintuplets, but DANG!!).
This is superb! I first heard this when Marty Robbins did it. This is far and away the best rendition I have yet heard. Marty would have beamed with pride at your version. The blending of all your alts, the videography, the lighting, the mixing....just a superior offering of your skill and gifts. Thank you Geoff. Glad to know you and your beautiful bride are okay. Stay safe, brother and sister, stay safe.

I think the first version of this that I heard was Johnny Cash....My dad was a Johnny fan....
My first time hearing this song was by Vaughn Monroe, yes I'm old, I've loved this song for years and have listened to countless covers through out the years. Marty Robins, Johnny Cash and various others. Geoff just made my day when I saw this, been waiting impatiently for this cover from him. Thank you for bringing back a lot of good memories. 😎😊
I love this version of this song, and love how he did it.. I just wish the song was longer i never want it to end.
Wow! I love this! The arrangement, production, harmonizing and the choice of a more classic song!
Geoff, you're a musical genius! Absolutely awesome! Your best video yet! I've listened to this a thousand times - and can always hear something I didn't hear before! You should go on tour and bring all of the other Geoff's with you! (Because you can never have to many Geoff's) Thank you, Mr. Castellucci so much for sharing your voice with us! This was absolutely fabulous!
As a bass , this makes me so happy to see this covered this way.. those chest fry and strong notes are so pristine
This song makes me so happy. I can just melt into it, close my eyes, and become lost. I love it! Thank you for this amazing song!
Was never a fan of this song. But this ..... way better than the original. Now I'm a fan.
Hey Geoff, by far the best version of this song ever done you deserve the biggest standing ovation well done.
I used to be ashamed of singing at the bottom of my range, because I have a quite low voice for a girl, but you keep showing me that singing low can be beautiful, esthetic and just super cool🤍 (even though I am by far not as talented...🙈) Now, I appreciate my voice more; and I just wanted to say thank you!😊
