Nana Akufo-Addo as a proud Ghanaian, Nana I salute you for the infrastructure you have laid down for our beautiful country. Listening to Dr.Thomas Mensa has make made me more determined to return home this year. I ought to tell the country a bit about myself: I am the Nkosuohema of Boanim in the Ashanti Region. I paid and had the road between Jamasi and Boanim constructed. When this article was picked up in Parliament they then realised that the contract had been given to the Road works Department, chase them up and hence our beautiful road. I also built the grotto at Boanim all single handedly. I love my country so much that I have to return home to help build the country.

When Jesus Christ spoke of salvation, many were those who ignored and rejected Him and finally demanded His crucifixion. Later until now we cry, looking for Him. Dr. Mensah has vowed to help the nation he must be fully accepted to serve his nation with what God has stored up in him. Dr. Mensah, may The Lord Jesus Christ strengthen you to accomplish your vision for the benefit of your nation. There are numerous of Dr. Mensah's type abroad in various fields who are willing to help. They must be welcomed to offer their God given gifts to help in the nation's development. if this is well done with humbleness, prayers in seeking God's face and turning away from wicked ways, God will hear from heaven, forgive our sin and will heal the nation.

The likes of Dr. Mensah are folks we should look up to. And Akufo-Addo is lucky to have him at his side to lead the new phase of Ghana's infrastructural development. I hope Dr. Mensah's efforts are not politicized and snuffed before they begin to materialize. All ambitious Ghanaians must be ready to jump into Dr. Mensah's visionary projects to become prosperous local Entrepreneurs. If we don't do so, the Nation would be forced to depend on foreigners who would take up all the top lucrative jobs and control all the investment resources. Ghanaians can become large business owners. And we must not limit our expectations to remain mediocre. Long Live Ghana!!!

Ghanaian are doubting Thomas. Every Ghanaian have an attitude of " videre est credere," in other words, " seeing is believing. " When become isolated for long time, they become foolish ignorant nincompups. Bible says, " The lack of knowledge My people perish. " In fact Ghanaians make we diaspora very disappointed and discouraged. It's very hard to convince programmed but functionary literates. In fact I am very disgusting when you see so called some Ghanaian educated fools who are not visionary. What they know best is to criticize and cannot do anything. Shame to the doom sayers. I know who he claims to be the inventor of fiber optics but in actually fact he was a contributor to its strengthening. Fiber Optics had already been invented before he got the job at Corning. I know he is a smart man but I think he talks and exaggerate too much about his accomplishments. Like I said Sometimes doing more is talking less in the media. And these dumb ass journalists who interview him daily in Ghana will fall for everything and wouldn't question the veracity of information being given to them.

It is exciting to know that some work is being done on this! And refreshing that the nation's leadership are showing interest in this and looking forward to pursue it in phases. Thumbs up! This will be, to my mind, the single biggest legacy the Nana Addo administration will leave for this nation! And indeed, I have said previously elsewhere that this project would likely be the lifeblood to the one district one factory project. With a speed train, foreign investors, who have the money, would likely be happy to set up in the remote places away from Accra. Let's also begin to think about the Bui City project once this gets underway hopefully in a year's time. Keep going! Ghana! 'I can hear the sound of abundance of rain'

@@KofiAfric Kofi Afric, your understanding of private partnership is limited. What do u want the leaders to do. Ask millionaires in this country to come together n invest n we can do it. In Singapore their former President made it mandatory for everyone to put 20% of their salaries at the bank. They didn’t say he wanted to steal their monies. They did it n the Government use it to build the country. Even 1.76 E-levy ,u n I are saying NPP wants to steal from us

They have to do it without the government but that will be hard because if people in the government don't get their share of the money they will sabotage the project. They've been doing this for a long time. Government is the Satan of Ghana both NDC and NPP.

I think if Ghana was able to make this dream become a reality it will change Ghana completely and West African an all for good but I believe today is the Chinese who are leading on this field not Japan because it's the Chinese who have helped Ethiopia and Kenya to have this type of development in their country but we know how politic Works in Ghana will the government give every support they can on this project imagine the amount of jobs it will create Africa is the future

Why don't we invest in renewables to produce the energy to power the trains? The goal is to be sustainable and reduce debt. The renewables are expensive I understand but it takes about 5 to 10 years to break even and then we begin to make profits. Diesel is primitive, limited and unsustainable. We produce majority of our electricity from fuel and the country is growing in debt because of this. I don't understand why people still invest in things that harm our environment and are not sustainable in the long term. Just waste of resources.SMH.
