Hello sire. I was drawn to this video by the “african dream” slogan. I share similar sentiments and just wish Ghana and Africa at large was as developed as west and now East Asia. It’s sad that educational videos on KZread get little to no attention at all but the shatta bandles, tje Akuapem pollo’s trend. We shall change the course of Ghana. I’m with everything you do aimed at living the african dream. Let’s all come on board and with our expertise, develop Ghana. No need for our progeny to also travel like we’ve done in search for greener pastures

First of all oral you are great. You sound intelligent in what you do kudos to you. Now for the Doc, who would have thought this day Ghana would come by such a great man to more or less single handedly INSPIRE, PUSH AND URGE the entire nation into a path of great success. Like he truly said since 1957, we as a country have failed to attain any significant achievement worthy of noting. We failing in the music and movie industry so its empowering to now know we are beginning to take control of affairs and once again, remind the world the ingenious people we are and take our place as an inspiring nation, I mean, the Black Stars of Africa. Long life Dr Mensah God keep you and help you achieve your vision for our dear land Ghana, Africa's very best.

Dr. Mensah is an expert in the sciences. Listening to him, you could tell he is not an expert in public finance. Nobody can be everything. You could have all the technological competences and the great ideas to move Ghana forward but if you could not come up with a balanced budget proposal to pay for all these infrastructural development and expansion then all these great ideas could simply be a fleeting dream. The western democracies have large economies and Ghana is not one of them. I cannot see how we shall pay for all great ideas without long-term deficit financing which could trigger inflationary pressures (upward pressure on interest rates, not to mention choking the currently ongoing investment climate). Can you imagine the hardships Ghanaians could face if the currency is devaluated? Inflation rate at 300%? The economic chaos could be devastating. Maybe Mr Mensah should ask Dr Nkrumah, Dr Busia and all former leaders of Ghana why they were not able to accomplish much. We have gold, cocoa, timber...what else? We do not set prices for these.....prices are set by the international commodity markets. We have oil.....we do not set oil prices. We cannot even put garbage receptacles in Accra and surrounding towns and regions! Most countries (Greece, Turkey, several South American countries etc) that embarked on an expansionary initiatives that required large capital outlay without financial foresight failed. I applaud Dr Mensah's bold plans for Ghanas but he is not pragmatic, not to mention a student of public finance. We have seen instances of Ghanaians with brilliant academic credentials in all desciplines decades after decades. The challenges we have faced in Ghana since independence is......enigmatic.
