Excerpts from session 3 of the UK-Ghana Trade & Investment Forum held in London Wednesday June 28th 2017 at the Sheraton Hotel in Park Lane London. The Forum was aimed to showcase the many investment opportunities that Ghana has to offer international investors.

Joe Ghartey, if you have Ghana at heart as you preach, what you actually have to be looking for is the proposal the honorable inventor Prof. Dr. Thomas Owusu Mensah made to you. Ghana can move forward in this 20th Century only through Technology and Innovation. And if we can't development along this line, we as a country should forget about development in another 60 years!!! Ghartey, look @ Rwanda now!!! Look @ what good governance, technology and innovation has done to a country of less 12 million people in less than 25 years.

MAN u don't know what you talking about.
We talking about a speed-train that can get to Tamale from Accra in an hour 30mins. Kumasi to Accra in 30 to 45mins and to both Cape Coast and the Western region in 20 to 25mins and u are talking about.......... With all respect, Mr Minister reason, and reason fast to create over 1million jobs for unemployed Ghanaians in a span of 3 to 4years. If you are not able to allow the establishment of this bullet train in Ghana, I would personally never forgive you!!! Because, your Legacy would be; U came, I saw the best and did virtually nothing!!!!!!

D. S Is that guy from funds as well. If he has the funds he should go ahead and stop making noise about the speed train.

Samuel. Thanx. This is a $6 billion dollar project!! The truth is, if he really had the funds, he would have gone ahead. Regardless, Ghana shouldn’t give up on this smart idea.
