Getting Revenge On The Bridge Monster!
Ойын-сауық
My buddy Viktor @LandsharkOutdoors and I decided we were going to plan a trip to the bridge to get revenge on the bridge monsters. On his last trip he lost tons of good fish to the giants that live under the bride, so we decided why not harvest one of those monsters. This is 100% legal in Florida. Bull Sharks are regulated by Florida Fish & Wildlife Conservation Commission and licensed anglers are permitted to harvest 1 Bull shark over 54" per person per day. Enjoy this awesome day of bridge fishing with a delicious catch, clean and cook!

Me and my buddy shark fish from the pier over here in PCB. We use leader that are about 8-10ft longer than the pier is tall. Once we get to the swivel we clip a caribiner with about 30 ft of rope to the line and walk em down like puppies... works pretty good. And if we get a sandbar we'll usually lay em up to the pier a lnd shake the piss outta them until the hook pulls... unless we cant see the hook that is. Figured its easier than walking em down with the 80W... still have to do it every once and a while when we double up though.

I have heard that sharks don't like the smell of rotting shark flesh. Harvest a Bull cut it into sections and use it to deter them.
@tylerdavis3

@@fredeb67 unfortunately that isn’t actually true. There are very few ways you can repel sharks other than shark repellent and moses fish secretions but I wouldn’t use it where you’re fishing, because it’s going to repel more than just the shark.
love the bride videos between you and landshark. im 15 and I've been loving the sport for the past 5 years learning all I can and your vids are inspiring, heading down to marathon to fish the bridges for sharks in the next few days, great to see some yotubers fishing those spots rn.
Man what an epic battle! I love bridge monster fishing! The workout and adrenaline rush fighting them is intense! I caught huge sharks but not as thick as that one! Thanks for the tips as well bridge fishing! You guys rock!

Hey dudes, awesome fishing! That wrap you have on your Rod to protect it and use it for bridge leverage.. I would recommend putting another wrap of the insulation they use for hot water pipes as well. Just put it right over the wrap that you have on there. It's softer and really helps to diffuse the stress. Those Bulls down there are for real. Jumped into a channel off of a concrete wall spearfishing down there one time and landed damn near on a back of a 9-footer. Needless to say, I study the water a lot better when I jump in now.
Cool video! I know how much fun that is. My son and I caught an 8’ bull shark just west of there in Flamingo. Neither one of us will ever forget that experience. My son is friends with Brooke’s brother, Fischer.

Hey Ryan, what was the rod you were using to catch the jacks? It was at 9 minutes and 30 seconds into the video.
What rod do you have paired with that Avet 80w?
I go to the keys all the time and I drove on that bridge
How do you land these large grouper & sharks you hook on the bridge 🐟🎣
One of my mom’s friend we live in Texas so he lives in progress they went to pier in Port Aransas called the Coast Guard and they caught seven bull sharks what weighed 250 to 300 pounds
The coldest night of my life was on that bridge, at seventy five degrees f , How? Sent All day long snorkeling , lost my body temperature then went fishing out on the bridge , nothing on but a pare of shorts , no shoes no shit it was miserable , no fish ☹️🏴☠️. AND sun burnt
I can't speak for the rest of the country or the world, but South Florida nor the Key have a shortage of sharks. We have more than our fare share. We have a very healthy population.

Each cut had a little different texture! It was super interesting, but I really enjoyed it
I took my daughter fishing on a pier next to a bridge, she's cast before, I just told her to go gentle, so she didn't hit the bridge and knock the bait off. The car bridge was about 20 foot higher than the pier we were on... She got ready to cast, and somehow managed to launch the rig clear over the 4 lane, with bike path, bridge to the point we could see it dangling off the other side. I grab the rod, and furiously start reeling in, before any cars came by. Needless to say, a box truck came flying along, hit the line, completely spooled the reel, and snapped the line somewhere near the rig end. After I realized I've still got line across the bridge, I begin reeling again, and next thing I know, that bike path, well, some lady was jogging on it, and ran right into the line.. Imagine if you will someone running into a cobweb.. I think a little part of me died that day :(
which bridge was this?
How do y’all humanely dispatch the shark? 45 cal double tap?

Literally anything that’s polarized will make a huge difference, but I would look for frames you like, with Blue mirror or gray lenses if you primarily offshore. If you primarily fish inshore go for Amber or green mirror lenses. I like premium brands, “Bajio” is my favorite right now, but no reason you can’t find some $30-40 polarized to help you spot more fish

If you're targeting a big un like a large bull shark, why aren't you using a standup rod and waist butt holder?

cool vid whats the mercury content of a bull shark that size ie are they safe to eat sometimes just not all the time did you know they say women n kids shouldnt eat it ????????? and men only once a month just for your saftey research more but ive found there are lots of diferent opinions but most suggest that there should be limits i think a smaller shark might be safer than a larger one also ive been told tyhat if you freeze the meat first tan defrost and cook it takes the metalic taste away at least thats what they say for bronze whalers any way some foodfor thought tight lines merry xmas

Why do lame KZread fishermen repeat themselves over and over and over and over and over? And over?
Why not shoot the Bull Shark after you've hooked it???
Just as others have mentioned, it does need a dab of oil before you use it kzread.infoUgkxSlytCJqozTF7EbdP4LWP-HUXf9WRDJ0e - put a few drops in through the convenient screw cap and you are good to go! I have fished several weeks with a couple of these, and I will be getting more in the future. I put these against my Abu Garcia Pro Max reel, and they actually perform a bit better than the Abu with some of my lighter cranks, and definitely just as good with the rest of my lures. My Abu is a bit more low profile and fits my hand better, but these are definitely not bad at all. You can almost get 3 of these for the price of my Pro Max. My only complaint is the thumb bar sits pretty high compared to my traditional profile Abu. Bring that thumb bar down a little and I’m sold on these all day long.
