96hrs Chasing Florida's Most Epic Fish Migration (Mullet Run Fishing)
Ойын-сауық
I spent 96 hours driving up and down Florida's coast while chasing this epic baitfish migration! During the early fall month's on Florida's East coast a fishing phenomenon occurs that creates some of the most visually stimulating moments ever seen. This phenomenon is known as Florida's Mullet Run. Fishing the mullet run with my great friends over 4-5 days created this epic video.
In this video I fish with some of my favorite people @LandsharkOutdoors @brookcristoutdoors @BeardedBrad92 @BamaBeachBum @TheLawlessTide it's always a great fishing with all of them!
Join me as I chase some fish of legendary proportions during Florida's Mullet Run.

This was a grind of a fishing video to put together! Long days of fishing and a long edit, but I think you all will appreciate the final product!

Awesome, bud. Love it. Fishing on the OBX where I live is also beginning it's fall bonanza. Drum (reds to y'all) and big Blues are slamming the beaches, piers, and sound inlets. 54 1/2" is the biggest drum so far. And eventually Rockfish, we hope, will migrate from northern beaches as the water temps get colder. Keep up the great work. Thank you.

Christina is a keeper for sure... great job landing her, lolz.
Great stuff man. I’m addicted, I’ve been losing sleep fishing early morning and afternoons all after hooking an upper 40s snook in the river. Tight lines Ryan 🤙
Production value through the roof on this one man! Felt like I was watching Planet Earth with those drone shots. Great edit and great fishing Ryan. Mullet run is wild looking but I definitely appreciate more how challenging it can be.

@@hookedonfishing9483 yeah good luck man. My first was last year, and me and my dad had been joking about a tarpon the whole week and all of a sudden we had one on the line. Took 90 mins and a mile or two walk up and down the beach, dodging rock outcroppings, but we eventually got him in. Almost 6 foot and massively heavy.

Bro I have wanted that reel for SO long now. I don't get too many chances to go saltwater fishing anymore as I live in Pennsylvania, but I have many big dollar setups, and some day I will have that reel on a good rod specifically for my travels to Florida (where I spent the majority of my teenage years).
Fishing is a best

Great video. I just moved to Charleston from up North. So I plan to drive down to Juno in September for the Mullet run. Any recommendations on tackle or gear to bring down? I am an avid Surf Fisherman but mostly gear for Stripers, Bluefish, and Big Drum.

Do you guys have two mullet rubs? Cause I think I saw somethin' about the mullet run few months ago, or is it just in different parts of Florida to different times?
What a catch and I don’t mean the fish lucky man you are 😢😢
Are you allowed to use weighted trebles for snagging your bait?
What set up are you using ?
What size VS reel are you guys using? Major awesome video.

Black one is 200 silver is 250
Black tip is good eating we used to fish for them off the beach plus will give you a show!
Nothing like the mullet run. I put a 2oz weight to make it look like a damaged mullet. The sharks don't hit the mullet as much.

Sometimes we do! They require special care to harvest properly and I’m not always prepared to do that. But when treated right they are delicious
Congratulations to Brad on the huge snook looked to only be about 6 inches from the state record.

Snook aren’t line shy with the 80 lb leader? I would think you’d be using 50 max
@RyanMorie
25 күн бұрын
Sometimes they get line shy, but from the pier you break off a ton when you drop down lighter than 60. Very different than other fisheries where I’d be using 30-50lb
This looks like so much fun. What general area is this in, I am from Louisiana and would Love to go try that out.
I wana come down and get a big tarpon ive came down to the keys last October for my honeymoon we were going to fish but after the 3rd day thr weather went to shit but i did get to feed plenty by hand
i tossed out a 14" lady fish, and something took off with it, and i never saw what it was. It probably would have been my record fish
