Here in my country muslim or catholic people aren't allowed to marry from other religions unless the person that's marrying into converts to that religion because they'd get "ideas" from them. And this isn't mostly for other religions. Like like they won't marry someone even if they belong to the same religion but not to their part of the religion. And we are almost always advised to not to marry into those cults because they will definitely torture you until you break down and submit to them. Honestly it's terrifying to even think about like there's no escape from that even of you wanted to.. Any bride would be upset with her expensive flowers & cake arriving wrong. We paid for expensive real flowers in both my ceremony & reception. The event place didn't allow flower girls to drop real rose petals. So we bought speciality authentic looking pink rose petals, that matched the floral arrangements. As I rounded the corner to walk down the isle. I saw these cheaply made fake blue rose petals everywhere. It was too late to fix it. I kept on down to the alter. Come to find out. My venue took it upon themselves to give my pink petals to the afternoon pink wedding. They tried to cover up their mistake by using fake blue petals. The real insult was when our wedding pics came back. They looked as if someone vomited these cheap blue petals on everything. So much the real arrangements & other decor was over shadowed. Now we're the owners of pics with tons of tacky blue flowers in them. The same venue cheapen out on our wedding cake too. I gave them a picture & theyd signed off on being able to do. So much for paying for a platinum pkg, a 4 tiered cake, real flowers, & a photographer. They never apologized & used our wedding pics on their website without our consent too. I can't look at the majority wedding pics without getting pissed off.

For women to marry at that age used to be the norm in Europe before feminism came along telling women to both marry and try to conceive children at borderline grandma age! In other words, when they are past their reproductive years. (Which for women is between 15 and 25, at 25 a woman is reproductively middle-aged already and her youth is over) today in the west women want to have children between 30-35, even 40! Pure madness. As for men they tended to get married between 25-30. *Added* Shackles? Perhaps. Then again, I'd argue she's way better off being married than on the mandatory feminist promoted CC carousel from age 15-25 (no wait, women in the west keep on going way past their youth) sampling random di*ks, a few abortions, drug use, party party followed by some Xanax etc leaving them as burnt-out wrecks at 25.....yet with another 60 years to bridge. Kind of a high prize to pay for 10-15 years of "fun".

Most weddings have a line that says, "Who gives this bride away?......and the father's reply is, "Her mother and I." She, as a married woman is no longer under the authority of her father. If he isn't willing to let her live her life, he shouldn't have allowed her to get married. (Just to be clear, I don't think a couple of 17 year olds should be traveling that far alone. @@htmlove I have also heard people refer to people in their early to mid 20s as children. A century or two ago young couples in their mid teens were allowed to marry. Years ago these teens were fully capable of taking care of each other and the resulting children from that union. What is the definition of a child? Based on the culture and the time that they were born into at one point a 17 year old was considered an adult now you can be 25 and still called a child and have no skills for taking care of themselves much less a baby. Define child. Her parents felt that she was mature enough to marry. If the dad was not willing to let his son in law be man of his own home, he should have had them postpone the wedding until he was ready to relinquish say over what his daughter does.
