Geto is a bad person. Geto was geto in the JJK 0 movie and s2 episode 1-5. He was not him during season 1 and ep6 up to the end in season 2.

Geto was geto until the end of jjk 0 when gojo kills him. Whenever you see him w the stitches- its after hes dead and his bodys been stolen

Yuta beat Geto in JJk Zero, then gojo found him, said good bye, and killed him. But didnt have his body disposed of like he should have so the curse user took Getos Body because he wanted his abilities. He was amazed Gojo could tell he wasnt really his friend. So now the question is who the hell is this who has been pulling all the strings this whole time. Geto from JJK Zero, no head stitches, is a completely different person than Geto with head stitches. Thats not a metaphor, he literally 2 ninjas

@@Ohg665mmm not explicitly per se but curses don’t tend to have brains or organs and he is seen by non sorcerers (they’re not quite gonna catch that but its still fairly obvious he’s not a curse given his relationship with the disaster curses), next episode he refers to himself as a sorcerer so not too bad to clear that up as they might have missed that in their watch

Geto still went down the villany path without the brain guy! Geto’s timeline ends when Gojo finishes him off and kills him at the end of JJK: 0 Chronologically: JJK: S2 - Hidden Inventory / Premature Death (real geto) JJK: 0 (real geto) JJK S1 (brain guy) JJK: S2 - Shibuya Incident (brain guy)

Interesting that because of the release order, putting the Timeline for Geto together is difficult. We see Geto Die in the Movie, and this happens after his body was found.

Well, we specifically DONT see it. We sort of hear it and all know it happened then, but the show does purposely leave that a little ambiguous so this reveal will have more impact

@@smashbrandiscootch719 Yep, the vagueness allowed them to create reasonable doubt that Gojo killed Geto. Lots of reactors at the end of Jjk 0 thought Gojo either didn't do his job, or didn't do a good enough job. The latter is technically true, but for different reasons lol

Came on to comment but I knew everyone would already be explaining it lmao, but yes. Geto was geto in the first part of s2 which is the flashback, and then in JJK0. At the end Yuta beats him but keeps him alive, that’s where Gojo talks to him at the end and puts him out of his misery. They don’t show the actual kill for effect and to bring confusion, but yes he died in 0 and the “curse” (you’ll learn his name later) took his body. But don’t worry, there’s so much more to uncover. 🥰

I really loved how expressive Gojo was this episode. Usually he seems so well put together, calm and collected. He's usually unphased by most things, because he's too busy goofing around, so seeing him take things seriously and look a bit manic was really interesting.

When Morgan spent a good chunk of S1 talking about how much she loved Hanami out of the group of curses, I couldn't help but wince knowing what was coming. Because wow. Gojo obliterated Hanami. Even with a handicap of holding back due to the civilians around. It's a bit of a shame. Hanami got interrupted from doing her domain expansion by Gojo last time. So she died without us ever seeing what it was. Unfortunate. I love Mahito hopping off the train after causing havoc and then being super happy. Even when facing Gojo, he seems to still be having fun. And considering how strong Gojo is, that just tells you how carefree Mahito is. Such a chaotic force. Finally, the reveal of Geto. Gojo was so strong that he annihilated Hanami. So strong that he took down an insane amount of transfigured humans in only a few minutes. But when he saw the body of his best friend, his mind froze up. Everything that he had been gifted in life told him that the person standing in front of him was Geto. But the depths of his soul cried out and told him that wasn't true. We were given a mention of Yuta as well, and while Gojo thinks Yuta could one day rival him, the person standing in for Geto seems to disagree. We start off this battle with our strongest player removed from the board. How fun.

As many have pointed out already the new Imposter is in Getos Body. After JJK:0 its hinted at that Gojo finished Geto of, who was already severely wounded from his fight with Yuta. Because of Grief he did not dispose of the Body correctly which left our Imposter here access to it. That is also why nobody suspected Geto in S1 and until now in S2 because everybody presumed him as dead. So basically JJK S1 = Imposter Geto JJK: 0 = Real Geto JJK S2 Flashback = Real Geto JJK S2 after Flashback = Imposter Geto Hope that helps to make it easier to follow.

This is more of a hindsight thing, but if you think about it, it wouldn't make sense for Geto to work with curses based on his philosophy. He uses them with his cursed technique but he wouldn't befriend them, I think.

But the thing is its not gojo and geto story

I'm typing this as I'm watching the vidoe so idk if y'all clear it up later in the discussion but the order of events in the timeline is Hidden Inventory (Season 2 Eps 1-5), JJK 0 (The Movie), Season 1, then Season 2 (Eps 6 onwards). From season 1 onwards "Geto" has been inhabited by the brain guy. Geto's downfall in the hidden inventory arc and his actions in the movie are all him, not the person that took over his body. The person got his body after Gojo killed Geto at the end of the movie.

This is where the fun (read: pain) really begins.

lol can someone please explain the geto situation to them, cos I don't know how they haven't figured it out since season 1 and especially since they've watched the movie.

Geto really died in JJK Zero, Gojo killed him. The problem is that Shoko supposed to retrieve Geto's body after the incident but Kenjaku (the entity who now inhabits Geto's body) got there first and transplanted his brain with his innate technique into Suguru's body and has taken Geto as his host body

I'm not gonna spoil because you will find out who he is later on in the series. But to give a bit of clarification, this is not a Yuji-Sukuna sharing body situation. This is an unknown individual who is literally walking and controlling Geto's body. He has full and utter control over Geto's body and is using it as his own. Geto did die in the movie due to Gojo giving the killing blow after the battle with Yuta.

Geto is dead the real geto died in the jujutsu kaisen 0 movie. However since they didn't dispose of geto's body that brain was able to take over his body and his cursed technique.

Gege making a cool character and just offing them just when they start getting interesting, or somewhere in the middle of a personal arc? I like a story where nobody's actually safe, but Gege's overdoing it a bit IMO. Geto's actually not a great example for my complaint, and he clearly had his arc, and I'm not gonna spoil major character deaths for others, but if you know, you probably know which characters I'm talking about (no, not the big death that fans are still coping about).

depends. Throughout Shibuya the answer would be kusakabe since hes he strongest grade 1. But if you count the moment yuki shows up, even tho she didnt fight, then she's by far the strongest person on the good guys side that night since she's special grade
