I'd be concerned that wind can rotate the antenna. Dishy wouldn't like that. The pop out button on Dishy's shaft can be aligned with a hole you make in your clothes line pole so that Dishy locks into place when you insert the shaft into the clothes line pole. With that small mod there would be no way Dishy can rotate and it is more firmly in the clothes line pole.
