I had an absolutely hellish experience with DOMS when I got back into squatting after having tendonitis in my knee. I'd been doing knee squats at lowish weights that didn't put much load on the tendon in the meantime and thus mostly maintained my strength. After a week of testing the waters I jumped back into full weight just fine, but had to skip on leg workouts for an entire week, and could barely walk. Gradually worked back to full weight and now it's all fine again.

I now have to walk on my heels with straight legs, and I have swim practice in approximately 3 hours. there is about a 90 percent chance of death. So, if these are my last words tell my family I love them.

My 2 cents: I am a senior citizen, and I am obese. I started a walking routine for exercise. I was so sore that first night, I thought I was dying. My daughter told me to put my backside as close to the wall as possible, my legs straight up on the wall, lay back and breathe. I laid like that for 20 minutes. The next morning, most of the pain was gone. I was able to continue my daily routine of walking.

Another helpful way is to consume turmeric. Turmeric has anti inflammatory properties and can really help to reduces muscle soreness. You can put it on your post workout meal or your post workout smoothie or protein shake along with black pepper. Black pepper helps our body absorb up to 2000% more turmeric than it would usually do. Also, I know that putting turmeric and black pepper in a smoothie may sound weird, but if you don't put too much of it, you won't even taste it.

Do you have any videos on body fat percentage? I’d really love to know more about it and how you can lower body fat % and not just “how to lose weight” or “how to lose fat” but how to specially bring down your overall body fat percentage in order to build more muscle.

Best thing you can do for DOMS imo is to stay consistent with your training. after a few weeks of consistent training, you'll hardly feel sore (at least not to the point you cant brush your teeth or walk up stairs).

Would it matter in what kind of protein, depending on what kind of goal you're going for? (Cutting or gaining) Or does it matter, protein is protein??

Any tips for neck soreness . I get it after training shoulders and when i force extra pushup reps. Yes most is due to bad form and some by bad sleeping posture.

Unlimited protein (chicken wings/samgyupsal/scallops) after an intense leg day pretty much is my go to for reducing soreness SIGNIFICANTLY! I don't mind the extra calories since I'm also bulking up.

Thank you, quite helpful. Normally I train three to four times a week and done so for half a year. With exams I have only time for training one or perhaps two times a week - and my soreness came back big time - and it hasn't been a problem except for my first few weeks of training in the beginning. Is once a week to little?

That might be a bit infrequent but will depend on what you're doing. I wouldn't sweat it and try to get back on track after exams.
