Crazy Amazon couldn't fix that without the news getting involved. And did the person receiving those items not call Amazon to report the issue?

Funny you mention this. In the last 3 week, I have received 3 packages for a person with a similar street name but for a different zip code. The first one. I left the package with a note on it and Amazon picked it up the next day. The second one, I did the same but they didn’t pick it up. I left it out again the next day but instead of picking it up, they delivered an identical package. I tried to figure out how to contact them online but there was no way to about getting another person’s package or arranging a pickup for someone else’s order. I found the 800 number and called. After 22 minutes trying to get to a real person they said they’d arrange for a pickup. Fingers crossed .🤞🤞 It shouldn’t be this hard to correct their mistake. That being said, this is the first time I’ve ever had a problem with Amazon and only happened after they changed where the delivery trucks come from.

I have never had an issue getting through to Amazon customer service. You have to go through a couple of different menus, but I get a call back usually within five minutes.

@@randombird3264 I’m guessing you are the one that received those packages then. my comment was actually extremely intelligent because that person is a thief because they know they didn’t order that merchandise , they know they didn’t pay for it therefore keeping it is just the same as stealing.

I don’t watch the news anymore but I do like to see them help out the average person

Ok, but why did it take a News Crew to fix this? Amazon doesn’t care when a customer calls and complains, does his research and pinpoints the issue, and then delivered all this information to HQ. Nah, they just blow him off. But when the News Crew calls….. That is messed up.

This happened to me with FedEx. I had to go to their office and after a very polite back and forth with the manager at the Davis location, he made a note on their ‘map’ and it never happened again

Eh, the printed address may be right but delivery personal use a scan code not the printed address. The scan code was probably wrong.

This man is really patient, I would have just stopped ordering from amazon.

I'm so glad Amazon is Happy to thank KSL for resolving the situation for Mr Bradley. Why couldn't Amazon be happy to resolve the situation for Mr Bradley WITHOUT KSL's help. It's not even THAT big of a problem. Something like this should not have required the involvement of the press.

They accidentally sent me 12 cases of pampers. When I called them they said just keep ‘em.

it’s because in the long run, it’s cheaper for them not to bother with the return due cost of gas and having to pay workers to assess the quality of the product that has been returned and then storing that product for resale, which is sometimes at a lower price because of minor imperfections

You did the right thing and those are now legally yours.

Company never fix problem unless the news station gets involved, with everyone else they turn a deaf ear and blind eye hoping the consumer will stop bothering them. They need to tell their drivers to make sure , house number and street name is correct. Make sure city is correct, don't always rely on GPS, because sometimes they take you to wrong city or stop short of right customer's house.

This just shows how much Amazon makes. They don't care and are too busy to fix your problem even if the problem is costing them money.

Why didn't the person getting the wrong deliveries report it??

Yeah that's really weird I've ordered from Amazon a few times didn't have that problem but I'm surprised the driver didn't even notice the address on the package itself😊

I have never ordered a single thing from Amazon since the day they started.

I dont use amazon anymore because they dont listen. I tried to report a scammer and they ignored me.

It happens often that big companies don't fix problems until they are embarrassed by a new story.

That problem doesn't seem to be on their flow chart of tech support. You just get bounced around between people that have no power to do anything nor do they seem to be authorized to pass it along to a department that could figure it out.

The story is a bit short on details. I'm wondering if the destination address had the correct zip code.

For a while my orders said delivered but were not being delivered so I had them redelivered. 2-3 weeks later the original package arrived. It was very weird. Lasted a couple months then stopped. 🤷‍♀️

Your location pin is wrong. I have to drive across town for an address that is wrong and Amazon will not change it or just don’t know how.

What happened to the items delivered? Answer the question now.

They have delivered my package to another address and I have received some other person's package a few times. When I told Amazon I was given a package for a different address they just sent it again the next day and never said a word about the one I already received. Free gifts I guess. lol..

My home security has caught an Amazon delivery contractor stopping at my box and leaving. But the driver never opened the window or my box. Amazon just resent the package, but they also didn't want the video evidence.

I received a package once for some one else. I got told keep it. They would resend to the customer. I guess that person didn’t contact Amazon.

Yeah this happened to us once we lost $600 in the deal My girlfriend ordered a scooter for me for I could get around easier and it went to a different address we tried to get the police involved but we could not The police wouldn't write a report on the deal tried twice but Amazon said what the heck you were going to keep your $600. $200 shipping and $400 plus for scooter from China so I just canceled we decided never to deal with Amazon again I'd rather give my money to somebody else Amazon is not worth it at all they stole from us and the person got the money because he said he delivered the scooter but it was never delivered. Amazon should be cancelled.

They’re not available in many locations. You only find them in larger cities so it’s not particularly useful advice for more than half the US population🤦🏾‍♀️

Some people calling a person a thief for something they didn't steal? If stuff keeps showing up on your property and you didn't ask for it, how is throwing it away or keeping it theft? Its actually a form of trespassing even by mistake! Nobody in their right mind is going to think you stole something you didn't order or physically take and had absolutely nothing to do with its arrival! If it was bags of smelly fertilizer showing up at a persons home that call's others a thief would have a different opinion! Your Opinions small like fertilizer lol.

If someone delivers a bag of fresh smelly manure to your porch several times a week and you decide not to throw it out but use it in your garden that makes you a thief?? They technically were trespassing and littering on your property! Only in another country would this be turned around making a victim a perp!
