@@trollhunter8148 Reality here, based on her property survey, she owns the land. The city confirmed that. He infringed on her and charges should be laid for for making false documents of a survey. You don’t nail something on the neighbours house either without their permission. He is trespassing. Also you don’t use your position in the police force to intimidate people. So many ways to see who is wrong here. People have rights to protect themselves. The sad thing is the city should have figured this out for themselves. There can’t be two surveys, one right, one false. They should not have sided with a neighbour, without checking further and issuing a permit to a perpetrator. She informed them and it took going to a third party to resolve this issue.

Absolutely ridiculous. A cop who will do stuff like this to a neighbor will do worse things to others. She should sue him.

It could happen because of a car accident or illness, my youngest resident in a nursing facility was 4 months old (she was on the pediatric hall) , she was never going to be able to go home because she needed 24 hr. nursing care. So hold that thought.

I'd contribute to a fund for her to build a sturdy fence at her property boundary, and install streaming cams. "Sturdy" would involve a high cement wall with rebar and security cams. She could get a permit if needed. Evil me thinks she could paint his side with prison bars, Disney princesses or Warner Bros., while reasonable me shouts "Don't do it." No malicious acts on her part, to prevent any possible lawsuit, just paint his side to look like a boring, neutral stucco or something. Today , if you are a white American in some cities, you will experience prejudice from the immigrants who wave their homeland country flag and give the finger to our flag . The thing is, he is just the tip of the iceberg. His department must be rotten too if he has been getting away with this stuff. IA needs to do a thorough investigation, or some higher law enforcement officers. Either way, the whole department needs to be investigated and cleared of the rot.

Who would reasonably believe that their property line runs on the edge of a neighboring house? There are setbacks between all legal buildings. Weird

That freak criminal neighbor cannot remain on any police force. Charges must be pressed against that tyrant bully. He's harassing, threatening with his station as officer, theiving her land, lying -creating fake circumstances to aquire her property, etc. He needs jail time. He's NOT protecting or serving___ he's theiving and harrasing. Continually because his badge backs him up.

That is crazy at every turn. Why hasn’t the cop been arrested yet? Harassment, trespassing, vandalism, fire code violations, and threatening to have her arrested should be some kind of abuse of power.

In USA 35 years and never learned English, I stopped there.

Sue the crazy neighbor. As for his being a cop, he should be fired, then arrested for fraud, trespassing and damaging his neighbor’s house.

Sometimes if you have a house with a zero lot line, one or two sides of your house will not have windows. Many subdivisions are like that.

@@ES-7766 Fire code has to have a second exit - normally a window. I have seen places for sale with 2 bedrooms, and then 2 "bedroom like" rooms. The "bedroom-like" rooms did not have windows, so legally could not be called bedrooms, and legally should not be used as such - as it is a fire hazard. This is an assisted living facility - he put all of their lives in danger. Had a civilian done this - they would have been in jail.

get a restraining order that keeps him OFF your property

Sounds like one of his buddies in the county gave him a fake survey, and another a permit. Both of those people should be removed.

All cities have rules on how far back feom the property line a structure must be and they would never have approved building that house right on the property line. She needs ro get a cerrified survey and then take him to court. Get money for damages, emotional distress and loss of use of the property

His department should reassign him immediately to some sort of admin assistant job, and, within a reasonable amount of time, dismiss him. He is not suited to any job that requires legal judgement or judgement of people.

That’s officer Harzinksis house. Also that homes for sale now after all of this. So she will be relieved once it’s sold.

This is more common than what you’d think. Our firefighter neighbor fenced out some of our acres and kicked away the survey markers. We had to call the police, get the surveyors back, put a new fence, remove his fence. He stopped talking to us and wanted us to just give away our property. What a nightmare. Some of them are not heroes!

Neighbor needs arrest and a big lawsuit. This cop is big trouble, willing to lie and break the law. He's a psychopath.

Cop is a public servant his name should be displayed.

A civilian Cop being a complete tool. Never heard of it.

This man broke the law and had the audacity to threaten his neighbor when she called him on it. He should be fired for both. She should sue him, and also get a restraining order against him.

Gotta say, she is very smart. She put him on blast in a very public way. She should get cameras now, lots of them, no way he's gonna let this go. He put in alot of effort to steal from her. He's dangerously entitled.
