Sometimes I think having a smaller amount of subscribers is good, from the subscriber point of view. It means we get attention, as in we get our comments answered quickly. I don't get that on million plus sub channels. I feel like just a number on those channels

I really enjoyed this video, as i do always. I'd like to ask you, if you can make a more indept video about the gtfs2 integration. I got it working for my region (in the netherlands), but i really would love to know more about it. I can't figure it our to easy by my self, so it would be very helpful for me. Thanks in advance...

Definitely try jokes 😂 gtfs2 is interesting although rarely use public transport. Someone else suggested one to do with trains as well may have been yourself.

Jokes will stay forever in UI :) Trains are different beast. And depends on where you live also. This one can also do trains but not many operators provide that data in standard form - that's the biggest issue I think.

@BeardedTinker Yeah I've watched a video on trains by someone else they have working for the UK.

Please do more using GFTS2. I'm new to HA but really enjoy your videos are they are very easy to follow. I have now go a way for my family to know when the next bus is. Wonderful

@@BeardedTinker I have gotten as far as your video. The more advanced visuals elude me. I gave it 4 hours yesterday and still all that I can get to show on the multiple card is the actual "headers" with no results showing.

@@BeardedTinker Any idea as to why I am seeing when buses have left rather are due to arrive? This is on my route options. The source is set to refresh every minute

@LindsaySmithmollison that's unfortunately not an easy answer. For example for trams we have arrival time provided by gtfs, and for bus that's departure time. Nothing much you can do about it if it's not properly defined in the file.

There is a way for that - check this link: github.com/bernikr/lovelace-notify-card/issues/12#issuecomment-1239749478 but you have to populate the list.

I have the notify one setup and working for my devices I log into HA with and the tv. You mentioned about using speakers, and I have some HomePod minis and some Sonos speakers but there’s not a notify service for any of my speakers. So I’m assuming I can’t use my speakers in this? I’d love to be able to use my speakers in this because obviously there always on whereas the tv might not. Can you advise further please? Thanks!

Are you using NEW (experimental) UI in HACS or old? Did you change to right category integration and frontend? Not sure what else could be the case here.

How do you setup a select menu for the notify card? Would be nice to be able to toggle reciever

Yes, it was sorted. We guessed correctly that they gave empty box from demo unit instead of new one.

You mention about excluding the joke entity "from logging or ending up in the database the database", is this JUST adding it to the recorder exclude list or is there more that can be done? recorder: exclude: entities: - sensor.random.joke

This should be it. Just to reduce database size and potential siue if storing data for longer periods.
