The rhino love of my life. As I watch, tears fill my eyes. Tears of joy that he has done so well and tears of pain that his mom and so many like her were slaughtered for no reason. It is so heart warming to see our Little G all grown up. Thank you for making my day.

Remember watching every day to see how little G was, and he won my heart. He and Matimba were just adorable and started my live of rhinos. Thank you for sharing this with us as I have wondered how they were these last years.

He is gorgeous!! I wish I had seen her from the beginning!! Its wonderful thàt you also have a foster program for the rhinos. I absolutely adore the wonderful elephants. I have watched their behaviour especially towards Khanyisa. I never knew how maternal they are!!People have no idea how these beautiful elephants have their own ways of doing absolutély everything! The carers work very hard and have done exceptional!! I intend to be a donor again, and that will make me feel I am helping in a very small way for what you so far have accomplished. Very cute i saw a story on this rhino. its a very sad story of what happened to him as a calf. but i am very happy and great full to see him being taken in and taken care of by you guys, that take great care of him hopefully he stays with you guys for the rest of his life. As he has no real concept of wild I'm sure as he has been in captivity since he was a calf and hopefully he is very happy where he is. It sucks that people/poachers are killing these amaizing animals hopefully one day they can be completely safe in there natural environment

He was rehabbed and is living as a wild rhino in the sanctuary. Adine meet him again and he recognized her but soon wandered off.

Lammie has raised a bunch of kids, she's a pro and knows how to comfort connect and watch over those babies no matter the species!

How awesome to be napping and waking up to a rhino on your lap. The keepers are so blessed to work with these beautiful giants. Rhinos only charge when they feel threatened which will never happen where they are at. And best of all no poachers.

This is a beautiful story, and I totally agree, until you have loved an animal, you are not truly awakened. I had many dogs and cats as pets all my life, but I fell in love with my English Bulldog Darby. She passed away at only about five years old, and that was three years ago this Thanksgiving night at midnight in the Animal Hospital Emergency Room. I’m not over her passing away, and I miss her so terribly bad, that it’s really hard on me. Our souls connected and I am half empty about living without her. I know I will see her again!

It is heart wrenching what goes on in this world. I try to imagine a world without humans and all I see is a world of peace/ violence/ balance.

I can't get over the wonders in any of God's creatures. I can't quite handle some that I am afraid of ( I live near a creek, believe it or not.). But Rhinos are really really neat. We are all on this Earth in this form for just a brief time. I hope that we can do good things for the Earth> we leave it all too soon for others to take up the mantle. The Earth is not ours to own. We can buy a piece of paper that says we have something, that we have a right to be there for a while. But paper soon fades and our eyesight fades and our abilities to uplift and be strong for others all too quickly becomes weak and we too are like defenseless babes in the woods. We should give a little from time to time for the benefit of others. Even if those others are flocks of birds or herds of bison. The Earth is our home, our mothers and our graves. We are all here now with a choice to act and behave with compassion and responsibility. The world needs so little from us, mostly just to care and not to hurt what we can't understand or value.

It's so sad that the world has to have these two opposite forces to exist. One force is the destruction of nature, of beauty, of love and kindness and soul for the small amount of money earned from the death of others. Orphaned rhino and elephants are such victims of brutality. What was the price for Jesus? 20 silver coins I remember. Not that I am preaching. The world loses so much for such small gains. I hope that the money earned from such loss is worth it, that it feeds someone or helps someone. I know that many in the world will never see a proper bed or have even a clean, dry place to rest and call home. I am so lucky, or blessed, as you like to say. But the cost of our burdens on the rest of the world is high. I am glad to see the opposite, the restoration of kindness and love and trust in the acts of others. Even small acts of kindness can restore so much in the world. Try it. Do something small every now and then. Just buy a bag of some decent fast-food for someone standing on a street corner with a small cardboard hand written sign asking for a little help. Just a little from each of us can be powerful in the aggregate. We are truly powerful together.
