Camp Jabulani launches interactive, evolved elephant experience with a strong conservation ethos
The 1st of April 2017 saw the launch of the new evolved elephant experience at Camp Jabulani after the decision was made to terminate elephant-back safaris.
This incredible clip captures the essence of the elephant experience, as well as the very special humans who have committed their lives to protecting the rescued elephants.

There at the end of this video is Adine with her arm wrapped around an elephant's front leg, up close and intimate...says it all!
The humans displace these creatures then criticize what a marvelous society we live in
Amazing people at HESC and HERD!🙏 R.I.P. little darling Shawu!❤😥😢😓

@@Jabulani ...you are so welcome! I love seeing the videos 😍💕😁
I loved to see how the Jabulani herd has evolved in Adine’s hands & heart & to see their beloved carers. Stavros makes my heart sooo happy when he says that the elephants are his children, while baby Shawu plays with him. (R.I.P. sweet Shawu). 💝🐘

Adine, I Admire you Deeply in your Work at HERD. I started watching when Khanynisa was brought to HERD, as a baby. She is so Wonderful and very forgiving of her situation. As you know, she has bonded with everyone she has come in contact with and is so Loving. Your two kids are wonderful, as well as ALL the Carers. I am glad Stavros came back for Fenya. I know y'all (you all, from our vocabulary in Texas) did everything possible for her. It was so sad on her Farewell.

Joshua & Israel are still there. Stavros is semi-retired: works 6 wks & takes 6 wks off. He can’t be apart of the elephants for too long!😊 I don’t know about the others, maybe the left or took a different position at the reserve. There are several carers there; all great ♥️
Well done. Great video explaining the needs and costs of saving elephants.

You are doing a wonderful service to these beautiful elephants. Thank you to the humans of The Herd❤️
Educational
When u put comments on the screen it’s great, but when u use light colors it’s hard to read. Black letters on a white background do show up better for reading
May God bless you and these beautiful innocent animals 🐘❤️🙏🙏🙏
Blessings to all of you 🙏 💛

This is so revealing. I have been watching the newer videos, what happened to these elephants, is the little one, one of the 16 elephants at Herd Camp Jabulani?

Happy Thanksgiving to you all!!!🐘❤️🐘❤️🐘🐘🐘🌿✨
Oh Adine, your mother would be so proud to see what you have achieved at HERD. I would like to see the safari vehicles back off in proximity, from all the animals. They cause tremendous stress on the moms and the babies.
